Mashing two notable releases together – Safri Duo‘s ‘Played A-Live’ and Sia‘s ‘Chandelier’ along with incorporating some of the original psy-trance sounds that the duo are known for make this a really interesting and unique release from Alchimyst. Kicking off this remix with high energy, kicks and pulsing off beat bass lines take to the forefront. As the remix progresses, Alchimyst incorporate the memorable aspects from both original tracks as they slowly build towards the drop which does not disappoint. The iconic melody from ‘Played A-Live’ is then introduced as they re-introduce the powerful and pulsating bass lines which are a staple in the psy-trance genre.
