In what could be called an act of defiance against trend-chasing, Dutch DJ duo Bassjackers are set to release their debut album of only dance-floor-approved tracks. The album, titled ‘THE BIGGEST’, is a collection of heavy-hitting bangers, true to the Bassjackers sound. ‘THE BIGGEST’ will be released on the 22nd of November, with their latest single ‘Limitless’ out now on Spinnin’ Records.
“As fans of the sound, we were missing an album produced as a true festival experience,” said Ralph van Hilst, one-half of Bassjackers. “Instead of trying to explore different genres and experiment, we wanted to do the opposite and explore the depths of what we do best, creating high energy bangers.”
The album consists of 14 tracks, all crafted to electrify the dance floor and get the crowd amped up. Several of the fire new singles are collaborations with heavy-hitters in the industry, including the likes of Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, Steve Aoki, and Dr. Phunk, to name a few.
Also accompanying the album, a 2-part cinematic experience music video, which is an artistic representation of the duo’s battle to save their sound from extinction. Part 1, being the official music video for the newly released single on the album titled ‘Limitless’, is out now. This powerhouse collaboration with German duo Jaxx & Vega is a dance-floor-destroyer which has been in heavy rotation in recent Bassjackers‘ sets on stages all over the world.
The track is effected with uplifting and ecstatic melodies, when the breakdown hits it just feels like the sun is coming out and you feel the positive vibe and happiness – just to create the right amount of balance. This big room record has already been fully supported by artists like Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, R3HAB, Blasterjaxx and many more.
