Joe and Pete Romano, otherwise known as Castor & Pollux are a New-York-based twin brother production and DJ duo. The pair have been producing dance music for over five years now. First inspired by acts like Hardwell, Swedish House Mafia, and W&W, now Castor & Pollux are embarking on a journey together, right by each other’s side, in creating progressive and big room anthems. The twin brothers are looking to create their own destiny in touching people with their music and are recognized as two guys that enjoy nothing more than putting a smile on people’s faces. Castor & Pollux recently unveiled their first single of 2020 ‘Recon’ via 450 Music/Create Music Group which has been received incredibly well. Following on from this single, the twin duo have just dropped their new collaboration ‘Infected’ with DMTR via Harmor Records
Prior to its official single release, ‘Infected’ was released as a Beatport Exclusive after first appearing on Harmor Records’ ‘Harmor Festival, Volume 6’ compilation. Not only did the song receive early appreciation from Beatport, ‘Infected’ currently holds the #27 spot on the platform’s “Best New Big Room April” chart. As if that accolade wasn’t enough ahead of its official release, ‘Infected’ also earned a feature on Beatport’s “Big Room Staff Picks”.
Even though it may be a while before you’ll be able to hear this one at a nightclub or music festival, there’s certainly no denying that ‘Infected’ will undoubtedly make its way onto your quarantine playlists — and have you dancing in your own living room.
