Making a great first impression in the music industry can be tough and if you don’t succeed right from the start, it may seem like a grey cloud is following you around no matter what you do. However, this does not apply to Indian artist DJ Prithvi as he takes his first impression and makes it a very memorable one, delivering a magnificent first release ‘Sunshine’. Although he is a relative new-comer when it comes to releasing music, what he lacks in experience within the studio he makes up for with tons of experience behind the decks, opening for big industry names such as Hardwell, Lost Frequencies, Peggy Gou, Youngr, Ummet Ozcan and more. This experience has helped him craft a crowd pleasing signature style that is evident from his first single.
The smartly titled track ‘Sunshine’ includes all the feel-good vibes that you may imagine from a track with that name. The single starts out easy with non-powerful drum loops that set the tone right from the get-go. As the single progresses, DJ Prithvi adds infectious high pitched vocals which are joined by blissful synths that add tons of character to the break down. He adds tension to the build up with energetic yet smoothing risers that lead towards the drop and it does not disappoint. Addictive and memorable guitar riffs are joined by deep lying bass lines which top this single off perfectly. As far as a first impression goes, DJ Prithvi definitely hits it out of the park with ‘Sunshine’.
