Accuracy & Honesty: All articles, reviews, and features must be fact-checked and accurately represent artists, releases, and events.

Transparency: Any sponsored content, advertising partnerships, or affiliate relationships must be clearly disclosed to readers.

No Plagiarism: All content must be original or properly attributed to the source.

Conflict of Interest: Editors and writers must avoid situations that could compromise impartial reporting or create a personal or financial conflict of interest.

3. Staff Conduct

Professionalism: Employees are expected to conduct themselves professionally with colleagues, artists, partners, and the public.

Respect & Inclusion: Discrimination, harassment, or offensive behavior will not be tolerated in any form.

Confidentiality: Sensitive business information, artist submissions, and internal communications must remain confidential.

4. Artist & Partner Relations

Fair Treatment: All artists, labels, and industry partners are to be treated equitably, regardless of size, popularity, or genre.

Ethical Promotion: Endorsements, playlist placements, or features must not be influenced by personal gain, bribery, or coercion.

Transparency: Any sponsored posts, advertorials, or paid features must be clearly marked.

5. Data & Privacy

Compliance: EDM House Network adheres to privacy laws and regulations, including GDPR, regarding the collection, storage, and use of user and artist data.

Integrity: User information, analytics, and artist submissions are handled securely and only for their intended purpose.

6. Reporting & Accountability

Raising Concerns: Staff are encouraged to report unethical behaviour, conflicts of interest, or policy violations to management or HR.

Non-Retaliation: Employees who raise genuine concerns in good faith will be protected from retaliation.

Enforcement: Violations of this policy may result in disciplinary action, including termination or legal measures where applicable.

7. Continuous Review

This Ethics Policy is reviewed annually to ensure it aligns with best practices, legal requirements, and the evolving needs of the EDM community. All staff, contributors, and partners are expected to familiarize themselves with this policy and uphold its principles.
