MVIUM Drops A Massive New 4-Track EP, ‘Prey’!

When it comes to dubstep and bass house, the genres had seen a huge surge in popularity during the early 2010s, most notably catapulting Skrillex into the upper-echelon of electronic artists. Now as the genre has evolved and grown, bright new emerging artists are being showcased. One of these bright sparks emerging in the scene is none other than Norwegian artist MVIUM. 2020 has truly been a monumental year for MVIUM as he has released a total of 5 singles in 7 months. Now he has topped up his discography in fine fashion with a jam-packed 4-track EP titled ‘Prey’.

‘Prey’ includes 4 massive dubstep singles, each similar but with a touch of its own flavor to make this EP really stand out. The EP starts off in style with ‘Screamhouse’, a banging single that sets the tone for the remainder of the EP. With thick basslines and energetic tempo, ‘Screamhouse’ is followed up perfectly with ‘Nocturnal’, which uses more of the powerful synths and pulsing synths. MVIUM then showcases his diversity by keeping the raw style of the previous two singles but uses a four-on-the-floor electro style that brings diversity to the EP with ‘K.O.’. MVIUM then closes the EP perfectly with the single ‘You Ain’t Heard Nothing Yet’, proving that, by the title, he was saving the best for last as thick and powerful synths and dubstep style is brought back to close the EP out. MVIUM has had an amazing year in 2020 so far and he is showing no signs of slowing down as we enter the final months of the year.
