New Music Friday: Kygo, Blasterjaxx, Afrojack, Steve Aoki & More!

“Higher Love” – Kygo, Whitney Houston
Norwegian electronic producer Kygo broke into the mainstream in the 2010’s with a tropical house sound that he utilized on remixes of Marvin Gaye‘s ‘Sexual Healing’ and Ed Sheeran‘s ‘I See Fire’. Building a steady following with singles and live performances, he issued his debut album ‘Cloud Nine’, in 2016, topping charts in Europe and the US and going multi-platinum in his native Norway. Sampling the iconic vocals from Whitney Houston’s ‘Higher Love’ for his latest release which is sure to be a bona fide hit.

“Music Is Our Religion” – Blasterjaxx
Getting closer to the release of their debut album ‘Perspective’ next month, Blasterjaxx drop yet another major tune from it, the solo effort ‘Music Is Our Religion’. Revisiting the big room sound that they’ve built their career on, this latest single does not disappoint. Set to be domination main stages across the world, be ready for another anthem from the duo this Friday.

Afrojack emerged in a line of globetrotting DJ’s, producers, and remixers to come out of the burgeoning Dutch dance music scene. Following up from a solid string of releases such as ‘It Goes Like’, ‘The Bass’ and ‘Sober’, Afrojack is teaming up with Yves V and Icona Pop for a wonderful pop EDM crossover set to take over the airwaves this Friday.
