Released 3 Years Ago: Headhunterz & KSHMR – Dharma

KSHMR, a California-based producer heavily influenced by his Indian heritage first found success as part of the pop-rap duo The Cataracs, who produced hits for Far East Movement, Dev, Snoop Dogg, and New Boyz during the early 2010’s. Freeing himself from the expectations of the pop world, he anonymously debuted his EDM alias KSHMR in 2014, publicly confirming his identity the following year. He has released dozens of singles, including collaborations with Tiësto, Hardwell, and R3hab, in addition to EP’s such as 2015’s ‘Paradesi’, 2016’s interlude-heavy ‘The Lion Across the Field’, and 2017’s ‘Materia’.

When it comes to hardstyle, it’s impossible to argue the fact that any artist has had a bigger impact on the genre than Headhunterz. From 2014-2017, Headhunterz explored new territories within the electronic dance scene, but Willem became homesick, missing his beloved hardstyle scene. In 2017 he announced his return to hardstyle, and the community welcomed him back with open arms, as he traveled to 34 countries performing a total of 125 time a comeback tour. A journey which inspired him to create ‘The Return of Headhunterz’, surpassing 15 million streams on Spotify. Along with his #28 position in the 2018 DJ Mag Top 100, it showed him that he’ll always find a warm welcome in his home base.

A momentous collaboration combining a colorful melody, exotic instruments interlaced with sharp synth stabs and alluring chants. Headhunterz & KSHMR‘s gem ‘Dharma’ turned 3 years old!
