Released 8 Years Ago: Hardwell – Everybody Is In The Place

Then-number 1 DJ, Hardwell, returned to his own Revealed Recordings label for its hundredth release with ‘Everybody Is In The Place’. Featuring the classic sample from The Prodigy‘s ‘Everybody In The Place’ first released in 1991, Hardwell laced his version with all the distinctive hallmarks of his big room productions that kept fans coming back for more. Rich with bone-shuddering bass lines and euphoric piano licks the release slipped seamlessly into Hardwell‘s already overflowing back catalog of hits. As the opening track of his epic I AM Hardwell show which he had been touring for the past 12 months in 2014, the excitement amongst fans surrounding this release had been palpable. Now with the details finally revealed as to who is behind the track, Hardwell followers the world over were eagerly awaiting the chance to get their hands on a copy. In the lead up to his headline slot at Ultra Music Festival 2014 along with a sold-out Revealed Recordings party at Mansion, Hardwell was at the top of his game. Following hot on the heels of previous release ‘Dare You’ which reached #18 in the UK charts, Hardwell had prepared another epic track to assault dance floors from Miami to Ibiza.

A superstar Dutch DJ who helped shape the EDM explosion of 2012-2013, Robbert van de Corput became Hardwell when he began DJ’ing at the age of 13. Watching the massive dance parties broadcast on MTV encouraged the teen to learn how to mix, and he soon became interested in remixing and working on his own productions.
