Trickylaye Presents Great Dance Remix Of ‘My West African Queen’!

Trickylaye and Mr DOO are like Dr Jekyll and Mister Hyde or Yin and Yang, which are two ambiguous parts that complete and composes the entire thing. Mr Doo is poppy and emotional while Trickylaye is more on technical things and power. The Parisian, Senegalese born musician and producer launches the Mr Doo project with the first single ‘My West African Queen’ which is an urban afro track in the likes of Burna Boy, Mr Eazi, or Rema with a sweet and catchy melody. He opens up this new project in the perfect way, with ‘My West African Queen’, which is accompanied by a slick dance remix.

On this dance remix, the BPM is lifted and the drums are similar to the works of world-renowned acts Bob Sinclar or Arman van Helden, which have been some of this artist’s biggest inspirations over the past years. He uses rhythmic sounds throughout and combines them with a subtle yet melodic piano that adds tons of groove. He also incorporates filtered effects that really drive the energy of the track. The effected vocals are edited and played in a playful way which makes this single really enjoyable. Overall, they couldn’t have launched this new project in a better way, with a brand new album scheduled for 2021!
