Voting Is Now Open For DJ Mag’s Top 100 DJ’s Poll 2019!

Voting is now open for DJ Mag‘s annual Top 100 DJ’s poll, the most widely-known and reputable fan-voted poll in the global music scene. The annual vote – now in its 26th year – is the world’s largest publicly-voted music poll, receiving over 1.2 million votes from over 180 countries last year, with votes in 2019 set to eclipse this figure. DJ Mag‘s Top 100 DJ’s poll has grown alongside the global electronic music scene and is a definitive snapshot of the popularity and visibility of international DJ’s at the end of every given year.
Voting opened on Wednesday 10th July and closes on Wednesday 18th September.
From techno titans such as Nina Kraviz and Adam Beyer, to big-room dominators like Armin van Buuren, Steve Aoki and Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, the poll has reflected both the over – and underground sounds of the dance scene. Electronic music sub-genres such as house, techno, hardstyle, drum & bass, EDM and trap are all represented and celebrated in equal measure. The Top 100 DJ’s Poll 2018 included nine new entries, eight re-entries and six non-movers… but who will take the crown this year? See the 2018 results here.
A huge talking-point in the dance music community, the Top 100 DJ’s inspires intense debate among music fans worldwide as the eagerly-anticipated results, announced in October at the Amsterdam Dance Event (ADE), reach a staggering 878 million users across all platforms.
Using this huge net of a fanbase for furthering good causes, DJ Mag has once again partnered with Unicef for 2019. Last year’s funding total exceeded £40,000, taking the total raised to date from this partnership as just shy of £70,000. With this money, Unicef has been able to provide enough vaccines to protect 815,175 children from tetanus.
Voters in this year’s Top 100 DJ’s poll will be invited to enter an exclusive charity prize draw. One lucky voter and their friend will be flown to Amsterdam where they’ll witness the crowing of the World’s No.1 DJ from the Royal Box, flanked by some of the planet’s leading DJ’s. You can find out more or enter the competition at djmag.com/unicef.
This year will also see the return of the Alternative Top 100 DJ’s poll, powered by Beatport. This is where an alternative list of the top house and techno DJs is created using the Top 100 DJ’s polling data, as a counterpoint to the main Top 100 poll which has been dominated by big room EDM DJ’s in recent years. A way to shine a light on the incredible popularity of house and techno, Carl Cox topped the Alternative Top 100 DJ’s poll last year, alongside the likes of Claptone, Richie Hawtin, Nina Kraviz, Charlotte de Witte and Black Coffee. DJ’s from the Alternative chart are still placed in the main Top 100 DJ’s poll, too, but this additional chart allows clubbers to feel like there isn’t a wasted vote if they vote for more underground DJ/producers. See the full 2018 Alternative chart here.
Last year saw young Dutch prodigy and wunderkind of the scene Martin Garrix take the No.1 spot for the third consecutive year, but can he make it four in a row? Will more women enter the poll this time around? Who will go up, who will slide down? It’s all to play for. Make your voice heard and cast your vote at top100djs.com!

MOGA Essaouira 2025 Returns To Morocco This October

MOGA Essaouira confirms first 2025 lineup with iconic artists and cinematic backdrop.
MOGA Festival is set to return to Essaouira, Morocco from October 1 to 5, 2025, bringing with it a carefully curated mix of electronic talent. The first phase of artists includes Bonobo (DJ set), Apollonia, Arapu, Cabanne, Janeret, Folamour, Nitefreak, Priku, and Saoirse. Once a filming location for Game of Thrones and Star Wars, Essaouira offers more than just music. It’s a setting layered in history and cinematic allure, and MOGA’s sixth edition continues to honor that unique cultural backdrop by combining music, wellness, and local experiences in one of Morocco’s most atmospheric cities.

A Festival Experience Across Historic Streets and Ocean Views
The 2025 edition of MOGA Essaouira opens on October 1 and 2 with the OFF program, inviting attendees to explore the city’s UNESCO-listed medina through art installations, workshops, wellness sessions, and DJ pop-ups. These opening days take place across Essaouira’s historic center, where scenes from Game of Thrones and Star Wars were filmed. From the stone ramparts overlooking the Atlantic to the maze of narrow streets, the setting blends history and contemporary music culture.
The main portion of the festival runs from October 3 to 5 at Hôtel le Golf d’Essaouira & Spa. There will be four stages named Main, Garden, Wild, and Terrace. More than 70 artists from around the world are scheduled to perform across these three days, with music running from 2 PM until 3 AM. Festivalgoers can spend the afternoon by the pool, walk through palm-lined paths between sets, or stay late into the night for deeper sounds under the stars. The entire experience is built around a sense of place and discovery, rather than large-scale spectacle.

Lineup Highlights Across House, Minimal, and Global Sounds
The 2025 lineup brings together a well-balanced mix of international and local talent rooted in house, minimal, and Afro-electronic styles. Artists already announced include Apollonia, Bonobo (DJ Set), Bedouin, DJ Tennis, Folamour, Arapu, Janeret, Priku, Patrick Mason, Saoirse, and Moblack. The selection reflects the festival’s focus on depth and variety rather than popularity alone.
Local representation includes artists such as Zulu Nawfel, Adassiya (live), and Yaya (MA), offering regional sounds alongside a global cast. Performances span both daytime and late-night hours, across four distinct stages: Main, Garden, Wild, and Terrace.
As the full schedule continues to take shape, MOGA remains consistent with its identity. Rather than relying on big-name trends, the curation leans toward artists with distinctive approaches and a strong connection to the culture of the festival.

New EDM Friday Releases You Cannot Miss, July 11, 2025

New EDM Friday is back once again with new music from Martin Garrix, Afrojack, David Guetta, Hardwell, Tiesto, and more.
New EDM Friday is overflowing with massive collabs, dance music anthems, and long-awaited albums that showcase just how wide the EDM landscape has become. From festival-sized anthems to underground club heat, here’s what you need to hear right now, another Friday, another stack of tracks ready to light up your playlists.
Afrojack, Martin Garrix, David Guetta & Amél – Our Time
Our first track of this week’s New EDM Friday kicks off with three of dance music’s most celebrated names, AFROJACK, Martin Garrix, and David Guetta, are joining forces for their first-ever collaboration, on ‘Our Time’. A high-energy EDM anthem featuring breakout producer Amél, the track is finally out Spinnin’ Records. It was first premiered by Afrojack and Martin Garrix at AMF during Amsterdam Dance Event and recently, the four joined the stage together live during Guetta’s ‘F** Me I’m Famous’ residency at Ushuaïa Ibiza, one of the most iconic and talked-about stages in global electronic music.
Hardwell & Atmozfears ft. Jaimes – Hideaway
Hardwell continues his resurgence with ‘Hideaway’, teaming up with hardstyle heavyweight Atmozfears and vocalist Jaimes. Much like their previous collab ‘All That We Are Living For’, the result is a high-octane blend of emotional hooks and thunderous kicks. Balancing melody and power, ‘Hideaway’ hits that sweet spot between trance-laced euphoria and raw hardstyle intensity. It’s mainstage energy at it’s finest.
SICK INDIVIDUALS x Matisse & Sadko x Third Party – Take Me There
Marking the launch of the newly formed 1001 Recordings, a joint venture between 1001Tracklists and Tomorrowland Music, ‘Take Me There’ is a massive progressive house anthem that sets the tone for a label built on dancefloor impact. This dream-team collab from SICK INDIVIDUALS, Matisse & Sadko, and Third Party channels pure mainstage euphoria, with soaring melodies and emotionally charged builds tailor-made for peak festival moments.
GØDMAX – Obssesed
Polish producer GØDMAX continues to blur genre lines with ‘Obsessed’, diving deeper into the shadowy world of melodic techno. Each year, GØDMAX has steadily evolved and with ‘Obsessed’ he taps into a darker, more hypnotic side of his sound, layering haunting leads and pulsing rhythms into a track that’s both emotionally resonant and club-ready. It’s another step forward for an artist who refuses to be boxed in, and a strong signal that his 2025 trajectory is only gaining momentum.
Martron – Resurgence EP
Martron, a classically trained musician turned electronic producer, drops his brand new ‘Resurgence’ EP. Blending trap, dancehall, and R&B, ‘Resurgence’ is a bold, emotional journey of self-discovery and resilience. The focus track ‘Always’ showcases his vocals, jazzy flutes, and a powerful spoken-word outro, cementing Martron as an artist unafraid to evolve and inspire.
OKAYVAL – Count Up
‘Count Up’ by OKAYVAL has been massively anticipated ever since she teased it on her social media and it’s now here via Meduza‘s ɅETERNɅ Records imprint. An extremely catchy number with a rhythmic bassline, this single is sure to put the OKAYVAL name on the map for those who were not aware before.
Chris Lake – Chemistry (ALBUM)
After over two decades of shaping the global house music scene, Chris Lake finally drops his highly anticipated debut album ‘Chemistry’ via his own Black Book Records. The 15-track collection is a masterclass in contemporary house, blending Chris Lake’s underground roots with high-impact, festival-tested energy. Featuring standout tracks like ‘Ease My Mind’, ‘Psycho’, ‘Savana’, and a brand-new collab with Bonobo titled ‘Falling’, the album showcases Chris Lake’s knack for pairing deep grooves with emotional resonance.
Onlynumbers ft. Lucie Hart – Euphoric Night (Tiësto Remix)
Our final track of New EDM Friday is Tiësto‘s flip of ‘Euphoric Night’ into a festival-ready weapon, bringing his big-room flair to Onlynumbers‘ dreamy original. The remix maintains the emotional core of Lucie Hart’s vocals while injecting it with a harder-hitting drop, perfect for late-night festival sets or club climaxes. It’s a future classic with instant replay value.

UNTOLD & ZAMNA have recently announced a global music partnership which will bring the two brands together, redefining premium global electronic events.
UNTOLD Universe, one of the most beloved entertainment groups in the world, is entering a new stage in its international expansion: a strategic partnership with ZAMNA, the music concept born in Tulum, Mexico, that has become a global benchmark in the premium electronic events scene.
This collaboration brings together two brands that deliver complete experiences to their fans: UNTOLD Europe ranked in 2025 among the world’s top 3 festivals for the second year in a row, known for its spectacular productions, global lineups (included live acts and top DJs), and ability to build themed universes around each event; ZAMNA, a brand that has redefined how electronic events in nature are perceived. Created in the heart of the Mexican jungle, ZAMNA has become an international phenomenon thanks to its organic stage designs, curated lineups focused on melodic techno, house, and deep sounds, and its immersive, multisensory atmosphere.
At the anniversary edition UNTOLD X in Europe, the Galaxy Stage – the festival’s techno hub – will host a ZAMNA-branded experience. For the first time, the UNTOLD fans will feel the live energy of this global phenomenon, within a legendary space for lovers of techno and melodic house. More details will soon be announced.
During the second edition of UNTOLD Dubai, which will be hosted at Dubai Parks and Resorts in November 2025, ZAMNA will curate a dedicated stage featuring an international lineup of melodic techno and house artists and original visual design.
Artists like Adriatique, Dixon, Black Coffee, Mind Against, Âme, and Tale of Us have been part of ZAMNA shows in spectacular locations across more than 15 countries: Mexico, Spain, Brazil, Thailand, France, Italy, and the USA.
The partnership between UNTOLD Universe and ZAMNA doesn’t stop at UNTOLD Dubai. The two brands are already working on a series of international activations in key locations across Europe, the Middle East, and South America. Their common goal is to create event formats that can redefine fan expectations – crafted with the same attention to atmosphere, curation, and detail.
The 10-year anniversary edition of the UNTOLD Europe will take place from August 7–10 in Transylvania, Romania, with artists like Post Malone, Metro Boomin, Martin Garrix, Anyma, Armin van Buuren, Tiesto, FISHER, Dom Dolla, Black Coffee, Adriatique, Hugel and many more.
