When speaking on this new body of work, Alex Kislov mentions:

“‘Dream Sequence: The Remixes is a beautiful re-interpretation of the album by some of my favorite producers and artists. It was a way to reignite a sequence of dreams, but this time from a different angle.”

Regarding the inspiration behind this body of work, Alex Kislov explains:

“This project came to be when I finished my album and received feedback from some of my Producer friends. One of them actually asked to do a remix, and that stemmed the entire idea of launching a full album of remixes of the project.”

With talents like Terry Golden, RJ Pickens, Arvi Mala, COFRESI, Mattheo, Side Project, Ivano Lima, Xeibo, and John Lyn included in the lineup, the album crafts tracks that will surely resonate on the dancefloor and beyond, weaving through soundscapes detailed with hard-hitting beats, uplifting melodic lines, driving basslines and atmospheric textures. For Alex Kislov, this release holds special significance:

“I am so excited for this album / EP to come right in time for Miami Music Week! It has so much soul and vibe to it, each artist really captured the essence of the theme of the album and took one track from the album and made it their own.”

Jared Lee And Disco Fries Team Up For Captivating Dance Anthem ‘Collide’

Jared Lee and Disco Fries link up to bring progressive house and trance together in this new single ‘Collide’.

A union between well-experienced musical acumen, Jared Lee and Disco Fries have creatively merged their talents in “Collide”: released early November, the track bridges emotional songwriting with an euphoric production, an expected outcome given the sheer amount of creative prowess involved in this project.

Both aliases are fairly recognizable by many: Disco Fries have played a crucial role in shaping the EDM scene for more than a decade, with numerous releases on coveted labels like Spinnin’ Records, Armada, and Revealed Recordings since their breakthrough. The American DJ/Producer moniker has acquired a high degree of success not only because of industrial consistency with their release rate, but also the nuance and versatility in blending popular and lesser-known styles to appeal to club and mainstream ears alike. In charge of the vocals for this collaboration, Jared Lee has increasingly become a synonymous figure in the scene— the Boston-based producer and vocalist has an extensive resume, with writing and producing credits that involve famed icons like Tiesto, Nicky Romero, Laidback Luke, and several others. Listeners may also have come across his music unbeknownst, as the singer-songwriter’s efforts have resonated globally through diverse media placements— including Netflix, ESPN, and MTV alongside trending advertisements.

“Collide” has the polished sheen of a well-conceived dance-pop tune, yet the attention to detail turns this memorable; Jared’s warm and yearning vocals are ensnaring right away, layered with gentle piano and synth during the introductory breakdown. The chorus arrives with a grabby chorus, enabling the transition into a melodic drop; the smooth sound design generates a dreamy atmosphere (especially with the piano riff) upon a rolling bassline, steered by the plucky lead synth. The undeniable influences of progressive house and trance result in a distinctive timbre, as the cadence remains pleasantly mellow (such as the gentler percussions) but snappy enough to create a climactic effect.

Anthemic yet bearing heartfelt moments, “Collide” is undoubtedly earmarked to gain rapid traction in the coming days, serving as a satisfying release for the fans of both artists.

You can listen to the release below and keep your eyes peeled for the remix versions of the tracks 🙂

New EDM Friday Feb 6 is finally here and it has new music from Calvin Harris, Alesso, David Guetta, Fisher, and more.

New EDM Friday Feb 6 marks one of the most significant release days of the year so far. With collabs from legends Alesso x Pendulum and Calvin Harris x Kasabian, alongside a massive wave of UK bass, soulful house, and cinematic grooves, here is your essential guide to this week’s New EDM Friday.

Alesso & Pendulum – FADE

Alesso started his 2026 with ‘FADE’, an epic collaboration with Australian icons Pendulum. This progressive house gem brings Alesso’s soaring production and Rob Swire’s larger-than-life vocals. Alesso, who has been a fan of Pendulum for years, perfectly entwines their unique rock and drum & bass-leaning sound with his signature sound. The release arrives alongside the massive announcement of Alesso‘s 2026 US Headline Tour, which kicks off this April at the legendary Red Rocks Amphitheater.

Calvin Harris & Kasabian – Release The Pressure

In another massive cross-genre pairing, Calvin Harris joins forces with Kasabian for ‘Release The Pressure’. This track is a masterclass in festival energy, blending Kasabian’s indie-rock grit with Calvin’s polished, high-octane dance production. It’s a rhythmic, driving anthem that feels tailor-made for the biggest mainstages in the world, proving once again that Calvin Harris remains the undisputed king of the summer-ready crossover.

Zero – 14ZERO EP

UK producer Zero delivers a definitive statement in modern 140 dubstep with the ’14ZERO’ EP, out now via Deadbeats. Fusing weighty, wonky basslines with razor-sharp sound design, the project features heavyweight collaborations with Riko Dan and Kwengface. From the trap-influenced grit of ‘Dubplate Fly’ to the unpredictable liquid swing of ‘HMS’, the EP showcases Zero’s incredible range. Following a #1 spot on the Beatport charts in 2025, Zero is officially taking his “Bangers Only” tour worldwide.

Kaleena Zanders & Bipolar Sunshine – Can You Imagine

Soulful powerhouse Kaleena Zanders teams up with Grammy-nominated vocalist Bipolar Sunshine for the feel-good house single ‘Can You Imagine’. This is the first taste of Kaleena’s upcoming debut album and bridges the gap between nostalgic indie vibes and forward-thinking house production. With a soulful chemistry that feels both intimate and global, the track arrives as Kaleena prepares for major festival runs at EDC Mexico and Electric Forest.

Govinda – Feels Like I’m Rolling

Shane Madden, better known as Govinda, returns with the mesmerizing, groove-driven track ‘Feels Like I’m Rolling’. Classically trained in violin, Madden blends his Middle Eastern and Spanish influences with modern electronic production to create a warm, hypnotic flow. The track captures a moment of “ecstatic harmony,” inviting listeners to get lost in a multi-sensory experience that Govinda has spent a lifetime refining.

Max White – Uno Dos

Rising star Max White keeps the energy high with his latest club weapon, ‘Uno Dos’. Following his recent run of underground hits, this track focuses on a relentless, rhythmic groove and sharp percussive elements. It’s a stripped-back but powerful tool designed for peak-time warehouse sets, further cementing Max White’s reputation as a go-to producer for pure dancefloor momentum.

Danny Eviza – Fire

Rounding out the week is Danny Eviza with the aptly titled ‘Fire’. This track is a slow burner but that doesn’t take away from it’s subtle energy, a no-nonsense addition to any chill house playlist but can also be the perfect house or mainstage set, built to keep the energy high from start to finish.

Phake and Haley Maze mesmerize in the emotional anthemic number “Yesterdays”

Unknown's avatar

Published

Phake has joined forces with Haley Maze to release ‘Yesterdays’, a track that perfectly encapsulates his signature “Emotional Dance Music” sound.

This is very much in tune with the distinctive ‘Emotional Dance Music’ signature that the promising talent has sculpted over the course of his career, along with the addictive vocals performed by Haley Maze. The skilful display of production and songwriting fulfils the prime intention for this release: create an euphoric track that will latch onto listeners right away.

Phake’s upward trajectory as a budding stalwart in the EDM industry has been fascinating. The enterprising alias has single-mindedly focused on crafting a production motif that keenly settles between dance-pop and upbeat rave-ready music; one not stuck in a static zone, but evolving and continues to impress his global audience. Vocals play a major role in Phake’s recordings, an empowering presence over the anthemic instrumentals— and it couldn’t get any better with Haley Maze taking over this duty. The adept songstress has teamed up alongside festival frontliners, such as W&W, Blasterjaxx, to name a few.

Yesterdays opens with bright and emotionally-charged vocals, ensnaring attention right as the drop arrives. The instrumentation goes for recognizable bass house and Garage house hybrid— an effective blend of styles that is uptempo and melodic, featuring a gritty, droning bassline and fast percussion in synergy. The breakdown gives more acoustic space for the singing, which doubles down on evocative sentiments of longing and desire. From here, the transition sequence effectively picks up the pace for another crescendo, as additive harmonies are introduced during the final drop to kick in with utmost potency.

Phake and Haley Maze’s combined forces on this dance anthem are top-notch (as nearly a million listeners have tuned in thus far), undeniably vouching for the promising year that’s ahead for both creatives.

Check out the release on Spotify below and you can keep up with Phake on Instagram.
