ALRT Returns To NIGHTMODE With Rude and Robust Rave-Ready House Single ‘Big Bass’!

ALRT returns to NIGHTMODE with a rotund and rowdy sophomore single, ‘Big Bass’, which is weighing in as the next release from the label’s sixth season.

Trying to put your finger on Irad Brant will never simply be an open-and-shut case. It’s equivalent to trying to hit a moving target. Since first popping up into the picture a few years ago, the Israel-born, L.A-based chameleon has practically covered the full scope of electronic music under the guise of his ALRT moniker. Genre classifications seem like an antiquated school of thought when he’s in studio mode, with an ever-changing output that signals to one of the most adaptable minds in dance music, bar none. His flexibility has rightfully earned him recognition as an Artist To Watch in 2021 by DJ Mag, Dancing Astronaut and We Rave You, a status he’s been building up to through two iterations of his ongoing ‘NRG’ EP series. With each installment being showcased by a revolving list of labels, it is clear his demand has been soaring at an alarming rate. Last year, NIGHTMODE got a piece of the action when he made his label debut via a rave-informed chunk of speed house that took the form of his single ‘The Need’. A little over a year later now, and he’s exercising his agility once again on a long-overdue follow-up effort

‘Big Bass’ is a hefty tech-infused track with enough mass to max out the scale. With a massive nod to UK influences, the bobbling groove carries a low-end payload that shouldn’t be taken lightly. His penchant for old-school elements is on full display, per usual, as roaring siren samples and ubiquitous rave stabs throw their weight around a thudding percussive framework. Bubbly synth blasts and rude boy vocal chops are accented by perfectly executed laser fills, amounting to a heavyweight house number that further proves ALRT deserves to be placed in a division all his own.

I’ve held on to this track for a while waiting for clubs and the world to begin opening back up. A lot of my fans have been asking for this one for a while now and it feels good to finally release it!”ALRT
