Chris Candela and Bauti Tesei team up on LCA, a Tech House collaboration created during a Mallorca studio session after ADE 2025

Chris Candela and Bauti Tesei have joined forces on LCA (Lights Camera Action), a new Tech House release out now through Nico Falla’s The Sun Grooves. The track began during a studio session in Mallorca shortly after Amsterdam Dance Event 2025, where the pair turned an idea around cameras and flashes into the basis of the record. Real shutter and flash samples eventually became part of the production, alongside a bassline, drums and vocals they developed together.

From ADE 2025 to a Mallorca Studio Session

The idea for LCA came together after Bauti Tesei travelled to Mallorca and spent several days working with Chris Candela in his studio. Bauti Tesei started with the bassline, while the pair worked on the drums together and Chris Candela wrote and recorded the vocals. As the session developed, they began incorporating real camera sounds to reinforce the “Lights, Camera, Action” concept behind the track.

Those details became part of the production itself, with camera shutters and flashes placed alongside tight percussion, a prominent bassline and deeper vocal elements. A more atmospheric second break changes the texture before the track moves back into its main drop, giving LCA contrast without losing the direct Tech House structure at its core.

A Collaboration Years in the Making

While LCA came together in Mallorca, the relationship between Chris Candela and Bauti Tesei goes back much further. The two first connected online through Chris Candela’s CDCVLOGS YouTube channel, where he would send Bauti Tesei feedback and production advice. Years later, Chris Candela came across Shake That on a Catch & Release playlist and realised Bauti Tesei had gone on to sign music to FISHER’s label.

That history also gave the studio session a different meaning for both artists. Chris Candela has spoken about being grateful for the support Bauti Tesei later showed when he launched the Chris Candela project, while Bauti Tesei described the collaboration as something that naturally followed their time around ADE and Mallorca. The camera-inspired concept gave them a specific idea to work from once they finally entered the studio together.

Chris Candela and Bauti Tesei Continue Their Tech House Paths

Chris Candela, the artist project of Italo-Venezuelan producer and content creator Cristóbal Delgado Candela, launched the project in 2025 after previously establishing CDCVLOGS on YouTube. Since then, he has released music through labels including mau5trap, Future House Music and Hysteria, with his recent work moving further into club-focused electronic music.

Bauti Tesei, whose full name is Bautista Tesei, began producing in 2018 with early influences from Swedish House Mafia and Skrillex before shifting towards Tech House. His releases have appeared on Catch & Release, Myth of Nyx and 1001Tracklists, while his music has received support from FISHER, Marco Carola, Paco Osuna, Cloonee, Benny Benassi and Miguel Bastida.

Released through The Sun Grooves, LCA brings those two paths together through a collaboration that started with an online friendship and eventually moved into the studio after ADE 2025. The track is out now and available to stream here.
