Curbi: “When the pandemic started, I delved more into a melodic sound and tried to do something with that. Over the course of last year, I really managed to nail my deepest and more melodic sounds and put them together in a way that I really felt comfortable with. This is when I came up with ‘Safe & Sound’. I’ve just been working on a lot of different and versatile stuff, playing with my vocals as well, trying to come up with cool vocal melodies and different atmospheres and themes. That’s kind of how it came about.”

After years of silence, both halves of Daft Punk are finally making noise again.

Just weeks after Thomas Bangalter surprised fans with his first DJ set in 16 years alongside Fred again.. in Paris, reports have surfaced that Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo is working on his first solo album. French music executive Emmanuel de Buretel, founder of Because Music, revealed in a recent interview that “Guy-Man fait son album” — “Guy-Man is making his album.”

“The night inspired this track,” the duo shared. “When we made this with the bass line and kick, we immediately knew it was something dark.
