DJ Sammy Teams Up with Jess Taggart and Micky Modelle for House Music Magic ‘Have You Ever Seen The Rain’!
Dance music icon DJ Sammy, who during a three-decade-plus long career has sold more than 20 million records is set to launch the next great house music vocal classic ‘Have You Ever Seen The Rain’. The Platinum Award-winning, DJ Mag Top 100 artist, has enlisted the incredible vocal talents of London-based singer Jess Taggart, as well as the chart-topping skills of Irish DJ Micky Modelle.
London-born vocalist Jess Taggart with her unique, ethereal, and elegant voice is primed and ready to make her mark on the music industry. Inspired in part by R&B, indie, and pop icons, Jess has spent years evolving her versatile voice, to become more than just a vocalist, she is a truly talented singer with a distinctive sound, that allows her to tell stories, and convey an emotional connection to reach out and bond with her current and future audience. Following on from her mega-collab with hardstyle producer Sick Legend on his track ‘Remember Hardstyle’, Jess is now working together with one of the most iconic dance music figures and DJs of all time, the unmistakable DJ Sammy.
There’s no sound quite like the sound of a Micky Modelle track, considered one of Ireland’s best DJs and producers, he has earned the “Best Irish DJ” award on four separate occasions, has achieved eight platinum albums, and is the best-selling DJ in his country. Many of the incredibly talented DJ’s productions and tracks have been licensed and used in hundreds of compilation albums worldwide.
To date, Modelle has amassed around 850 official releases on iTunes. In 2018 he was honored in the Belfast Hall of Fame and was the only DJ in history to be included as part of the Oh Yeah Music Hall of Fame. It’s also hard to forget 2007’s UK and European smash hit, ‘Dancing in the Dark’ together with Belgian singer Jessy, which still cracks a whip when played across airwaves today. With a string of top 40 hits under his belt, Micky Modelle continues to play to massive event and festival crowds in the UK and across Europe. And now, the Irish superstar DJ has teamed up for his first collaboration with house music legend DJ Sammy.
Recognized as one of the most influential DJs of all time, and responsible for two of the most instantaneously recognizable dance tracks of all time: ‘Heaven’ and ‘Boys of Summer’. DJ Sammy continues to create amazing, emotionally resonant music and loves collaborating with the most talented vocal artists in the industry. After opening his label’s doors to fresh releases from UK producers James Hurr and Loz Seka, FLAMENCA Records boss STBAN returns to the imprint with his brand new single ‘Habibi’, out April 10th worldwide.
A scorching slice of percussive Afro-Latin House, ‘Habibi’ sees STBAN collaborate with two stars of the Spanish music scene – DJ and percussionist Javi Torres, and singer and DJ Alba Dreid. The result is a dance floor weapon that combines the heat and flavour of Arabesque vocals and instrumentation with thundering basslines and relentless rhythms.
Javi Torres is known across southern Europe and Latin America for his explosive Afrohouse and Latin Tech sets, performances enhanced by live percussion inside the mix. The Seville-based artist counts support from some of electronica’s biggest names, including Martin Garrix, Alok, Jamie Jones, Hugel, Aaron Sevilla, Roger Sanchez, Mëstiza, MichaelBM, Tom & Collins, Novak, Nicky Romero, Paco Osuna, Salvarote Ganacci and Sammy Porter. Known throughout Spain after winning the RTVE programme ‘La Bien Cantá’, Alba Dreid’s focus is set firmly on bringing Spanish folklore to a global audience, making her a perfect fit for STBAN’s ongoing mission to fuse traditional flamenco with electronic music through FLAMENCA Records’ growing discography.

April keeps moving and this week brings another round of new releases across the scene. From David Guetta, Afrojack, and Sia coming together to Anyma teaming up with Lisa, these are the tracks you should not miss on this week’s New EDM Friday.
Afrojack, David Guetta & Sia – Awake Tonight
In a long-awaited reunion, Afrojack, David Guetta, and Sia reconnect on ‘Awake Tonight’, marking their first release together since ‘Titanium’ in 2011. The record had been in development for years before finally taking shape, first introduced during Afrojack’s Ultra Miami set, with Sia’s vocal once again central while the production reflects a more current direction, making it one of the most anticipated releases on New EDM Friday April 10.
Anyma x Lisa – Bad Angel
With his Coachella performances set for the same week, Anyma teams up with Lisa on ‘Bad Angel’, releasing the track just days before introducing his ÆDEN show on that stage. The record is positioned as part of that rollout, with Lisa moving into a different direction outside her recent solo work, placing her vocal within Anyma’s melodic techno approach, making it one of the more notable releases on New EDM Friday April 10.
Armin van Buuren, Olive Anguz – Vem Comigo
After first appearing in his sets during ADE, Armin van Buuren has collaborated with Olive Anguz on ‘Vem Comigo’, a track he has continued to play across festival stages before its official release. The record reflects his recent move into techno-oriented releases, with the collaboration bringing in a different influence on New EDM Friday April 10 while already proven in large-scale settings.
Virtual Riot – Burning Out (Album)
After previewing several tracks across recent months, Virtual Riot releases his third studio album ‘Burning Out’, bringing the full project together following that rollout. The album moves between heavier bass records and more melodic tracks, reflecting a shift in his recent output, with the project landing as part of New EDM Friday April 10.
GoldFish – Little Wonder
Global electronic duo GoldFish return with ‘Little Wonder’, an uplifting new single featuring legendary South African vocalist Zolani Mahola, via their own label 33 Degrees. The track marks the genesis of a new chapter for the duo, signaling a broader creative evolution: One rooted not only in sound, but in lifestyle, storytelling, and cultural perspective.
HI-LO, Brennan Heart, Project Zeitgeist – Adagio For Strings
Taking on one of the most recognisable melodies in electronic music, HI-LO, Brennan Heart, and Project Zeitgeist revisit ‘Adagio For Strings’, bringing it into a heavier direction through their combined styles. The track has already been played in DJ sets ahead of its release, with the rework on New EDM Friday April 10 drawing from its trance legacy while pushing into a more driving version.
Sara Landry, Godtripper – Hekataia (EP)
Following their earlier release ‘Chaos Magicka’, Sara Landry and Godtripper return with ‘Hekataia’, a new EP out on her Hekate Records imprint. The project stays in line with the high-BPM, industrial techno direction she has been playing in recent sets, while also expanding the catalogue of her own label, making it a strong addition to New EDM Friday April 10.
The Chainsmokers ft. Oaks – Echo
After teasing the track across recent months, The Chainsmokers return with ‘Echo’, featuring Oaks, continuing their current run of releases following ‘Hope’. The single introduces another newer vocalist into their catalogue, making it part of New EDM Friday April 10 following multiple previews leading up to its release.

New EDM Friday April 3 is here with new music from John Summit, Anyma, Hardwell and more
The first Friday of April is officially here, and artists across the scene are continuing to push collaborations into new territory. From John Summit linking with Feid to Anyma working with Joji, these are the releases you cannot miss on this week’s New EDM Friday.
John Summit & Feid – CHICA 305
In one of the more unexpected pairings this week, John Summit teams up with Feid on ‘CHICA 305’, bringing a Latin influence into his club-driven sound after the two worked on the record in Miami. The track leans into that setting, with Feid’s vocal carrying the late-night feel while Summit keeps the groove locked in, also marking one of the standout releases on New EDM Friday April 3 ahead of his upcoming album Ctrl Escape later this month.
Anyma & Joji – Beautiful
Anyma steps into his next phase with ‘Beautiful’ alongside Joji, introducing the first release tied to The Dawn of ÆDEN. Joji’s vocal adds a different tone to the record, but the production stays consistent with what Anyma has been building through his recent Afterlife run.
Hardwell & Braev – Believe
Hardwell brings ‘Believe’ out after first introducing it as his Ultra Miami 2026 intro, continuing the direction he has been pushing since his return. The track follows that same structure heard in his recent sets, with Braev’s vocal leading into a drop designed for large festival stages.
Eli Brown & Pan-Pot – Coming In Heavy
Eli Brown and Pan-Pot link up on ‘Coming In Heavy’, which lands as the 100th release on Arcane. The record keeps things direct, focusing on groove and tension, and reflects the kind of techno both artists have been known for across club circuits.
Kill the Noise & Bro Safari (Kill Safari) – Kill Safari EP
Kill the Noise and Bro Safari bring back Kill Safari with a new EP, continuing the return of a project that has always leaned heavier than their solo work. The release builds on that identity, following earlier hints of the alias coming back into rotation.
INFEKT – ORGANIC DUBSTEP EP
INFEKT expands on his current direction with the ‘ORGANIC DUBSTEP EP’, an eight-track release on Port Zero that focuses on stripped-back dubstep. The project builds on the sound introduced on the title track across a full project, adding a heavier edge to New EDM Friday April 3.
Of The Trees x LYNY – Hollow
Less than two months after the release of the critically acclaimed concept album ‘Moonglade Park’, Of The Trees returns with a major collaboration with rising artist/DJ, LYNY, ‘Hollow’ via Memory Palace and signals a bold sonic shift to the introspective mood of Moonglade Park. ‘Hollow’ continues the narrative and sound universe introduced in Moonglade Park. While the previous LP emphasized immersive, chill soundscapes, the new single leans into more energetic, dancefloor-ready roots – demonstrating the breadth of his sonic vision.
FISHER & Tones and I – Favour
