DVBBS, GATTÜSO And Alida Encourage Living In The Moment With ‘Leave The World Behind’!
DVBBS teams up with GATTÜSO and Norwegian singer/songwriter Alida for an upbeat, dance-worthy single – “Leave The World Behind.” Opening with soulful vocals as Alida belts out lyrics that inspire listeners to live in and appreciate the present moment, DVBBS and GATTÜSO phase in a groovy downtempo bassline that leaves room for the track’s soaring melodies to shine through. “Leave The World Behind” follows DVBBS‘ recent single “Losing Sleep” with Powfu, as well as “Girl Next Door” with SK8 and Wiz Khalifa, and teases the Canadian duo’s forthcoming studio album. NYC-based artist GATTÜSO worked earlier with the likes of Steve Aoki, R3HAB, Laidback Luke and released on Armada, CYB3RPVNK, Enhanced, Dim Mak, Spinnin’ and more, before joining Ultra Records‘ roster. Listeners may recognize Norwegian singer/songwriter Alida as the voice behind Robin Schulz‘s “In Your Eyes” and “One More Time.”
“Proud to be a part of this powerhouse release. The blend of musical taste goes deep through this record, and we can’t wait for people to hear it in all different parts of the world.” – DVBBS
“Songs often take a long time to come together and I feel strongly that this one has been worth the wait. DVBBS and I started sending each other music in March of 2020. We’ve been looking for the right song to work on for almost 18 months. I have watched Alida grow over the last four years, and in the last year I have continued to be blown away with her vocals and songwriting. I really love collabs like this because it puts everyone’s music in front of new fans and brings a lot of energy to the release and I believe this is a big one. This song made its way from Norway, to NY, to LA and now it is ready to blast off… and ‘Leave The World Behind!’” – GATTÜSO
“‘Leave The World Behind‘ is a song about finding comfort in each other even if everything else surrounding you is falling apart.” – Alida
Only a few producers have risen to the top in the electronic music scene as quickly as DVBBS, who captured the industry’s attention with hits like “Tsunami” and “Not Going Home” and never let it go. The Canadian brothers Alex and Christopher have been continuously cultivating their sound since their debut in 2012 and have racked up an impressive display of collaborations with renowned names from diverse musical backgrounds, such as blackbear, 24kGoldn, Jasmine Thompson, Belly, NERVO, Juicy J, and more. DVBBS continue to prove there’s nothing they can’t accomplish. Their hits such as “La La Land,” “Gold Skies,” and the breakthrough “Angel” are staples in every dance music fan’s library. Prior to the global pandemic, DVBBS performed a staggering 250 dates per year at some of the world’s hottest music festivals and top-tier clubs, including Tomorrowland, EDC Las Vegas, Ultra Music Festival, Hakkasan Las Vegas or Ibiza‘s Amnesia, and Ushuaia. Throughout their career, DVBBS has proved they are relentlessly dedicated to expanding their global footprint and bringing cutting-edge new music to their listeners.
New York City-based DJ, producer, and remixer GATTÜSO is quickly making a name for himself on the global dance music scene. He hit the ground running in summer 2018 with his first original production, “Who We Are,” and in just over a year’s time, he signed an exclusive record deal with legendary dance music label Ultra Music. Appearing 3 times on Billboard Dance Radio chart, his songs have been streamed over 250M times on Spotify and Apple Music, have been released on Armada, Enhanced Music, Spinnin Records, Future House Music, Ultra Records, and have been regularly featured on the top editorial playlists. He has received strong support for his remixes for Sam Feldt and R3HAB, whose hit “Lullaby” with Mike Williams propelled GATTÜSO to the cover of Spotify‘s influential “mint” playlist. His music has been endorsed by top artists such as Tiesto, R3HAB, Galantis, Sam Feldt, Steve Aoki, Laidback Luke, and many more. GATTÜSO closed out 2020 with strong momentum, with his latest release on Ultra Records, “Bring That Back,” on multiple New Music Fridays around the world, and currently at #1 on Spotify’s Dance Rising playlist. The song has been streamed almost 90M times to date and continues to grow.
Alida is a songwriter, vocalist, and artist from Norway, now based in Los Angeles, California. Her passion for singing and creating music began at a young age. At nine years old, Alida started to sing alone in her room, recording herself with a tape recorder. While in secondary school, she decided to focus on music and began to fine-tune her pursuit. It was then when she learned the piano and began writing her own songs. Upon relocating to Los Angeles, Alida began collaborating with various producers, songwriters, and artists, including Noonie Bao, Axident, Big Taste, The Orphanage, Cheat Codes, The Monarch, Loren Gray, Rollo, and Robopop, to name a few. The Norwegian singer co-wrote and was featured on Robin Schulz‘s single “In Your Eyes‘” which peaked at #1 on US Dance Radio & #5 on European Radio charts. Earlier releases include features and co-writing jobs on Matoma‘s “Embrace Your Life” and “Home Now” by Yves V. Alida is an extremely versatile topliner and, with strength in lyric, melody, and concept, can pen records wholly on her own with ease, and she is only getting started.

New EDM Friday July 10: Armin van Buuren, Kaskade & More
New EDM Friday July 10 brings new music from Armin van Buuren, Silver Panda, Kaskade, Crankdat, HUGEL, Bryson Tiller, and more.
New EDM Friday July 10 brings together new singles, collaborations, EP releases, and crossover records covering melodic techno, house, bass music, Latin house, and big room. From Armin van Buuren and Silver Panda with Here In My Arms (Enjoy The Silence) to Kaskade and Crankdat with A Little Bit, HUGEL and Bryson Tiller with Temptation, and Chris Lake and Tiga with Party Time, these are the tracks you should not miss on this week’s New EDM Friday.
Armin van Buuren & Silver Panda – Here In My Arms (Enjoy The Silence)
Armin van Buuren and Silver Panda release Here In My Arms (Enjoy The Silence), a melodic techno rework of the Depeche Mode classic. The track keeps the emotional pull of the original while building around driving rhythms and atmospheric production, giving one of electronic music’s most covered songs a current club direction. The collaboration had already been featured in sets at major events including EDC, Ultra Miami, Stade de France, and Ushuaïa Ibiza before its official release, pairing Armin van Buuren’s large scale festival energy with Silver Panda’s fast rising melodic sound. With a legendary source record and one of trance’s biggest names meeting the melodic techno space, Here In My Arms (Enjoy The Silence) opens New EDM Friday July 10 with one of the week’s biggest releases.
Kaskade & Crankdat – A Little Bit
Kaskade and Crankdat release A Little Bit, the first ever collaboration between the two after its debut during Kaskade’s return to Coachella 2026. The set marked his first solo appearance at the festival in over a decade and introduced his ORIGIN // album era, with Crankdat joining him onstage midway through to debut the track live for the first time. The record brings together two different eras of electronic music, pairing Kaskade’s cinematic, emotionally driven production with Crankdat’s high impact bass design. For Kaskade, the release extends the ORIGIN // narrative first introduced at Coachella, while for Crankdat it marks another milestone in a career defining year. With a Coachella debut moment now arriving as an official release, A Little Bit gives New EDM Friday July 10 one of its biggest crossover collaborations between house and bass.
HUGEL & Bryson Tiller – Temptation
HUGEL and Bryson Tiller release Temptation through Make The Girls Dance Records, the first single from the special edition of HUGEL’s debut album Twenty One arriving this fall. The track blends HUGEL’s signature Latin house sound with Bryson Tiller’s smooth vocals, built around warm piano, soulful melodies, and groove driven production. The collaboration lands during major runs for both artists, with HUGEL coming off Twenty One debuting at number one on Spotify’s Top Albums chart while holding down his weekly Make The Girls Dance residency at Hï Ibiza, and Tiller fresh from the ten year anniversary of T R A P S O U L and the announcement of his Neo Trapsoul Tour. With HUGEL continuing to unite dance music with R&B and pop through world class collaborators, Temptation adds one of the week’s strongest crossover releases to New EDM Friday July 10.
Chris Lake & Tiga ft. Aatig – Party Time
Chris Lake and Tiga release Party Time with Aatig through Black Book Records, a first time collaboration between two of dance music’s most distinctive names. The track is built on a pulsating rhythm, a tightly wound groove, and Aatig’s instantly memorable vocal lines, with Chris Lake’s precision engineered production meeting Tiga’s forward thinking edge. Party Time had already become a standout moment in both artists’ sets, with Tiga dropping it during Chris Lake’s sold out Under The K Bridge run in New York, where the pair shared the bill. The release follows a landmark June for Chris Lake, who sold more than 55,000 tickets across five sold out headline shows in New York City and Los Angeles. With an established club figure like Tiga joining one of house music’s biggest current names, Party Time adds a peak time club release to New EDM Friday July 10.
Blanke – PART III – AWAKENING (EP)
Blanke releases PART III – AWAKENING, the third instalment in the EP series leading toward his debut album arriving later this year. The two track project moves the story from collapse toward renewal after PART II – SKYFIRE, with Sunrise featuring JEX showing one of Blanke’s most melodic and emotionally resonant productions to date and Synchronise reconnecting with the heavier midtempo influences that defined his early sound. Blanke describes the EP as capturing rebirth, regeneration, and hope, with the two tracks acting as opposite sides of the same message. The release arrives during a defining year that includes his Far From Home co-headline tour with Virtual Riot and the continued rise of his drum and bass alias ÆON:MODE. With the debut album drawing closer, PART III – AWAKENING gives New EDM Friday July 10 its main bass entry.
Hardwell & Bassjackers – Bang On The Drums
Hardwell and Bassjackers release Bang On The Drums through Revealed Recordings, bringing one of Hardwell’s most played IDs of the year into official release. The track debuted on the Ultra Miami 2026 mainstage and has stayed in circulation through his sets since, including EDC Mexico and EDC Las Vegas, building demand across months of festival appearances. The collaboration reunites two long running names from the Dutch big room world, with Bassjackers returning to the Revealed catalogue on a record built for mainstage moments. Compared to the club and crossover releases elsewhere on this week’s list, Bang On The Drums keeps the festival side of the roundup covered.
