DJ Sammy Releases New Dance Single ‘Magnetised’
DJ Sammy Releases New Dance Single ‘Magnetised’ as he explores toxic attraction and the pull of returning to someone you know is wrong
With his new single “Magnetised,” DJ Sammy combines heartfelt lyrics with modern dance energy, telling the story of an intense attraction that remains impossible to resist despite all the warning signs. The release follows the push and pull of a connection that keeps turning back on itself, moving between closeness, doubt, and the feeling of knowing something will end badly but still being unable to walk away. Built around the line “So tell me why I’m magnetised to you,” the track places that emotional conflict at the center while bringing DJ Sammy back with a modern dance release under MyClubroom.

DJ Sammy’s Global Dance Legacy
The Emotional Conflict Behind Magnetised
At the center of Magnetised is the point where a person already understands the damage a relationship is causing, but that awareness is still not enough to make them leave. DJ Sammy places the song in that uncomfortable space between knowing and acting, where someone can read the warning signs clearly and still feel emotionally attached to the person creating the pain. The line “So tell me why I’m magnetised to you” works because it does not treat attraction as something exciting or easy to explain. It sounds more like a question someone asks after repeating the same mistake too many times, especially when the relationship keeps moving between closeness, doubt, and losing control. That is where the single gets its emotional weight, because the conflict is not only between two people, but inside the person who keeps going back.
What makes Magnetised fit Sammy’s catalogue is the way it puts that conflict into a vocal dance record without turning the subject into a simple breakup story. The song looks at the part before someone finally cuts ties, when the emotional pull is still stronger than the decision to walk away. That gives the title a clearer meaning: being “magnetised” is not just about attraction, but about feeling drawn toward someone almost automatically, even when the outcome already feels painful. Through MyClubroom, DJ Sammy brings that idea into a 2026 release that keeps the vocal hook at the front while using the production to support the tension in the lyrics. It gives Magnetised a direct storyline, with enough emotional detail for listeners to recognize the cycle without the song needing to spell out every part of the relationship.
