EDC Thailand Pre-Party and Phase 2 Lineup Revealed

EDC Thailand phase two and pre-party lineup is here, with Mau P, Loco Dice, FIFI and Baggi kicking off the weekend at Hotel EDC on December 17.

A trip to EDC Thailand 2026 already stretches beyond the three days of the festival itself, especially with Phuket becoming part of the plan from the moment attendees start thinking about where to stay and when to arrive. Getting there before Friday opens up another part of the weekend too, and Hotel EDC is using that extra night for its official Beach Party on December 17. Taking place at XANA Beach Club, Angsana Laguna Phuket, the pre-party gives attendees a reason to start the EDC Thailand weekend a day earlier, while also making the hotel stay part of the wider festival plan before the main event begins.

Start The Weekend On The Beach Before Friday

For those already in Phuket before EDC Thailand 2026 starts, the party can begin a day early with the Hotel EDC Beach Party offering the first taste of the weekend at XANA Beach Club. Located along Bang Tao Beach, the beach club gives attendees the chance to spend Thursday by the water and pool, grab food and drinks, listen to music and start getting to know the people they may end up spending the next three festival days with.

That makes Thursday especially appealing for anyone travelling solo, meeting friends in Thailand or hoping to find a group before heading into EDC the following day. Talking over food, spending time by the pool or meeting someone between sets is much easier than trying to introduce yourself once thousands of people are already inside the festival, and by Friday some attendees may already have people to go in with.

The artists playing the Hotel EDC Beach Party will also be playing at EDC Thailand 2026, which gives attendees a chance to hear Mau P, Loco Dice, FIFI and Baggi before the main festival begins. Hearing them first at XANA gives people a taste of some of the music waiting across the weekend, while Thursday still feels different from the main festival through the beach club setting, pool and more relaxed pace of the evening.

Make Hotel EDC Part Of The Full Phuket Weekend

Hotel EDC Thailand 2026 takes over Angsana Laguna Phuket from December 17 to 21, turning the five-star beachfront resort into the official hotel experience for the full festival weekend. Staying there means the trip starts with Thursday’s Beach Party and continues with daytime parties from Friday to Sunday, giving guests somewhere to spend the hours before heading to EDC Thailand each evening.

The choice of Angsana Laguna Phuket is a big part of that experience, with the resort set along Bang Tao Beach and offering a large free-form pool, spa, water activities and several places to eat across the property. For a festival trip, that means the daytime can still feel like part of a Phuket holiday, whether guests spend it by the pool, head to the beach, book a spa treatment or join one of the Hotel EDC daytime parties before getting ready for the night ahead.

Breakfast each morning, shuttle transport to EDC Thailand and a dedicated Hotel EDC entry line also make the practical side of the weekend easier across several consecutive festival days. With the Beach Party on Thursday, daytime events throughout the stay and the resort itself offering plenty to do between festival hours, Hotel EDC gives guests a way to enjoy Phuket and EDC Thailand as one trip without making the hotel feel separate from the rest of the weekend.

EDC Thailand 2026 Phase 2 Adds More To The December Weekend

With the EDC Thailand 2026 Phase 2 lineup now revealed, the three festival days from December 18 to 20 have expanded further across house, techno, trance, hard dance and bass, with names including Martin Garrix, Tiësto, DJ Snake, Charlotte de Witte, Dom Dolla, Kaskade, Vintage Culture, Jamie Jones, Paul van Dyk and Worship among the artists heading to Rhythm Park. For anyone already planning to be in Phuket for the festival, Thursday’s Hotel EDC Beach Party turns the trip into four straight days of music before the weekend has even properly started.

That extra night also changes when the Phuket trip needs to begin, especially with December falling during one of the island’s busiest travel periods. Anyone hoping to be there for the Beach Party on December 17 will need to factor Thursday into flights and accommodation too, instead of planning only around the main festival dates and trying to get everything sorted closer to the weekend.

With the first party happening on the beach Thursday night and EDC Thailand 2026 taking over the next three days, there is little reason to treat Friday as the beginning anymore. Booking the trip with December 17 in mind means getting the full four-day weekend from the start, from the first set at Hotel EDC through to the final night at Rhythm Park.

deadmau5 takes over Red Rocks for Halloween on October 30 and 31 with two special shows and the return of mau5hop

For more than 15 years, deadmau5 has returned to Red Rocks Amphitheatre each fall, with the Colorado venue becoming a regular part of his seasonal live shows. This year, that tradition reaches a new point as he performs at Red Rocks on Halloween itself for the first time, with DEADMAU5 HALLOWEEN taking place on October 30 and 31. The two-night event will feature VOWWS, joined by Josh Freese and Danny Lohner, alongside special visuals, selections from deadmau5’s catalogue and new music. The weekend will also include the return of the mau5hop pop-up in Denver, with exclusive merchandise, collectibles and meet-and-greet sessions across both days.

VOWWS Joins deadmau5 For The Halloween Shows

VOWWS will join deadmau5 across the two nights, with Josh Freese and Danny Lohner also part of the performance. The Australian-born, Los Angeles-based duo of Matt James and Rizz have long worked across darker alternative and electronic sounds, with previous collaborations involving Gary Numan, Chino Moreno and Chelsea Wolfe.

Josh Freese, whose credits include A Perfect Circle, Foo Fighters, Nine Inch Nails and The Vandals, also appears on VOWWS’ latest album I’ll Fill Your House With An Army. Danny Lohner, known for his work with Nine Inch Nails and The Black Queen, will join the duo at Red Rocks as part of the expanded live lineup.

What deadmau5 Has Planned For Halloween

The October 30 and 31 shows will feature special Halloween visuals alongside selections from deadmau5’s catalogue and new music. Attendees are also being encouraged to come in costume across both nights.

The shows add a new chapter to deadmau5’s long history at Red Rocks, where his fall appearances have become a regular fixture over more than 15 years. He was back at the venue in 2025 for Day of the Dead, where he debuted new music and parts of a new touring production.

That period has continued into 2026 with ‘Science’ featuring Stevie Appleton, his first vocal single since ‘My Heart Has Teeth’. The track later reached No. 1 on US Dance Radio and also entered Billboard Dance/Mixshow Airplay and Canada CHR/Top 40.

mau5hop Returns For Halloween Weekend

The Halloween weekend will also include the return of mau5hop in Denver, opening on October 30 and 31 at 95 S Cherokee Street. The pop-up will run from 11:00 AM–6:00 PM each day with specialty merchandise, limited-edition apparel, pins and collectibles not available online or at the shows.

deadmau5 and friends are also due to appear for meet-and-greets and signings from 12:00 PM–3:00 PM on both days.

With the Red Rocks shows and mau5hop both returning across Halloween weekend, this year’s edition adds more around a tradition that has already become closely tied to deadmau5 and the venue. The biggest difference in 2026 is simple: for the first time, one of those shows will actually fall on Halloween night.

With VOWWS, Josh Freese and Danny Lohner joining the shows, new music expected and mau5hop returning to Denver, DEADMAU5 HALLOWEEN has plenty planned across the weekend. Limited tickets remain for both nights at Red Rocks Amphitheatre, with more from deadmau5 also expected in the months ahead.

BETH Turns Up the Energy With New Single ‘Wait’

Scottish producer BETH returns on The Cross Records with new single Wait, following a breakout 2026 of festival slots, Ibiza dates and Radio 1 support.

In the space of a year, BETH has gone from respected up and comer to a genuine festival act. Her debut on The Cross Records, “Keep It Movin’,” is closing in on 1 million streams, and she’s kept up a steady run of releases on labels like TSHA’s Jackfruit, Eats Everything’s Edible, and Melon Bomb Records, along with a well received remix of Karen Harding’s “Island.” That output has earned her support on BBC Radio 1, with plays from Sarah Story and Arielle Free.

Her live schedule has kept pace too. This year she’s played TRNSMT Festival, Sub Club, Cabaret Voltaire, and SWG3 in Scotland, Mas Que Nada in London, and Lakota in Bristol, plus Ibiza dates at Hï, Cova Santa, and Pikes.

“Wait” marks a step forward in her production. Where “Keep It Movin'” leaned into sultry, harmonic melodies, “Wait” goes bigger and brighter, built around euphoric piano chords, a driving 90s inspired break, and deep reese bass. It’s a feel good summer record from an artist whose rise shows no signs of slowing down.
