Ella Romand reworks Husa & Zeyada’s ‘More Love’ with live instrumentation, house grooves and Brazilian influence

French-Brazilian producer, pianist and live electronic artist Ella Romand has released a new remix of Husa & Zeyada’s ‘More Love’. Based in Miami, she combines classical training and Brazilian influence with deep, organic, Afro and melodic house. For the remix, Ella Romand transforms the original slow-tempo indie electronic track into a more upbeat version. She adds melodic textures, organic rhythms and live instrumentation while preserving its hypnotic indie dance character.

Ella Romand Reworks ‘More Love’ For The Dancefloor

For her version of ‘More Love’, Ella Romand adds a groovy bassline using the Moog Subsequent 37. She also introduces house piano chords alongside the track’s original vocals. As a result, the remix brings more movement to the production without losing the feel of the original.

Speaking about the remix, Ella Romand said: “When I first heard ‘More Love’, I immediately connected with the track and knew exactly what I wanted to do with it to bring it into a more club vibe. I added a groovy bassline using the Moog Subsequent 37 and housey piano chords to keep the energy moving, while building on the original track and catchy vocals. I wanted the remix to feel uplifting and danceable, while still maintaining the original hypnotic indie dance character.”

From Classical Piano To Electronic Music

Ella Romand began learning piano by ear at five years old in southern Brazil. Classical training followed, alongside an early interest in Brazilian and pop music. Later, electronic music became another major influence, including Sasha’s ‘Involver’. After moving to Curitiba at 16, she became more involved with the city’s club scene.

She later studied music production in Brazil before relocating to San Diego to pursue a music degree. From there, she continued her studies at Florida International University in Miami, specialising in Music Technology. Her early breakthrough came through Miami’s electronic music scene after winning Electric Pickle’s mix competition. She later secured a residency at Do Not Sit On The Furniture.

Since then, Ella Romand has performed at Ultra Music Festival, SXM Festival, Lightning In A Bottle, Cityfox Live, III Points and Burning Man. Her venue appearances include Brooklyn Mirage, Superior Ingredients, Vagalume, The Great Northern and Cova Santa.

Live Instrumentation Remains Central To Ella Romand

Live instrumentation has remained central to Ella Romand’s work. In 2015, she began incorporating keys and electronic instrumentation into DJ sets with electronic trio Dsided. She later carried that approach into her solo project.

That background also led to a collaboration with the New World Symphony. For the project, Ella Romand co-produced, composed and performed alongside more than 80 musicians. Together, they combined classical and electronic music within one performance.

Alongside her own releases, Ella Romand has shared lineups with Nora En Pure, Bob Moses, Sébastien Léger, Lee Burridge and Francis Mercier. She has also played alongside Rodriguez Jr., Eli & Fur, Nick Warren, Damian Lazarus and WhoMadeWho. Meanwhile, her catalogue includes releases through Manual Music, Go Deeva, Minds Alike, Redolent and Husa Sounds.

Ellaments Extends Her Work Beyond Releases

Beyond her own productions, Ella Romand also runs Ellaments, which began as a radio platform. The project has introduced emerging artists across deep, organic, Afro and melodic house to more than 500,000 plays. Over time, it expanded into events combining electronic music with live musicians, visual artists, painters and local vendors.

Through Ellaments, Ella Romand also supports emerging artists and initiatives focused on sustainability. Her remix of Husa & Zeyada’s ‘More Love’ was released through Husa Sounds on September 18, 2026. The release brings together the melodic, organic and rhythmic elements heard throughout her work.

deadmau5 takes over Red Rocks for Halloween on October 30 and 31 with two special shows and the return of mau5hop

For more than 15 years, deadmau5 has returned to Red Rocks Amphitheatre each fall, with the Colorado venue becoming a regular part of his seasonal live shows. This year, that tradition reaches a new point as he performs at Red Rocks on Halloween itself for the first time, with DEADMAU5 HALLOWEEN taking place on October 30 and 31. The two-night event will feature VOWWS, joined by Josh Freese and Danny Lohner, alongside special visuals, selections from deadmau5’s catalogue and new music. The weekend will also include the return of the mau5hop pop-up in Denver, with exclusive merchandise, collectibles and meet-and-greet sessions across both days.

VOWWS Joins deadmau5 For The Halloween Shows

VOWWS will join deadmau5 across the two nights, with Josh Freese and Danny Lohner also part of the performance. The Australian-born, Los Angeles-based duo of Matt James and Rizz have long worked across darker alternative and electronic sounds, with previous collaborations involving Gary Numan, Chino Moreno and Chelsea Wolfe.

Josh Freese, whose credits include A Perfect Circle, Foo Fighters, Nine Inch Nails and The Vandals, also appears on VOWWS’ latest album I’ll Fill Your House With An Army. Danny Lohner, known for his work with Nine Inch Nails and The Black Queen, will join the duo at Red Rocks as part of the expanded live lineup.

What deadmau5 Has Planned For Halloween

The October 30 and 31 shows will feature special Halloween visuals alongside selections from deadmau5’s catalogue and new music. Attendees are also being encouraged to come in costume across both nights.

The shows add a new chapter to deadmau5’s long history at Red Rocks, where his fall appearances have become a regular fixture over more than 15 years. He was back at the venue in 2025 for Day of the Dead, where he debuted new music and parts of a new touring production.

That period has continued into 2026 with ‘Science’ featuring Stevie Appleton, his first vocal single since ‘My Heart Has Teeth’. The track later reached No. 1 on US Dance Radio and also entered Billboard Dance/Mixshow Airplay and Canada CHR/Top 40.

mau5hop Returns For Halloween Weekend

The Halloween weekend will also include the return of mau5hop in Denver, opening on October 30 and 31 at 95 S Cherokee Street. The pop-up will run from 11:00 AM–6:00 PM each day with specialty merchandise, limited-edition apparel, pins and collectibles not available online or at the shows.

deadmau5 and friends are also due to appear for meet-and-greets and signings from 12:00 PM–3:00 PM on both days.

With the Red Rocks shows and mau5hop both returning across Halloween weekend, this year’s edition adds more around a tradition that has already become closely tied to deadmau5 and the venue. The biggest difference in 2026 is simple: for the first time, one of those shows will actually fall on Halloween night.

With VOWWS, Josh Freese and Danny Lohner joining the shows, new music expected and mau5hop returning to Denver, DEADMAU5 HALLOWEEN has plenty planned across the weekend. Limited tickets remain for both nights at Red Rocks Amphitheatre, with more from deadmau5 also expected in the months ahead.

Scottish producer BETH returns on The Cross Records with new single Wait, following a breakout 2026 of festival slots, Ibiza dates and Radio 1 support.

In the space of a year, BETH has gone from respected up and comer to a genuine festival act. Her debut on The Cross Records, “Keep It Movin’,” is closing in on 1 million streams, and she’s kept up a steady run of releases on labels like TSHA’s Jackfruit, Eats Everything’s Edible, and Melon Bomb Records, along with a well received remix of Karen Harding’s “Island.” That output has earned her support on BBC Radio 1, with plays from Sarah Story and Arielle Free.

Her live schedule has kept pace too. This year she’s played TRNSMT Festival, Sub Club, Cabaret Voltaire, and SWG3 in Scotland, Mas Que Nada in London, and Lakota in Bristol, plus Ibiza dates at Hï, Cova Santa, and Pikes.

“Wait” marks a step forward in her production. Where “Keep It Movin'” leaned into sultry, harmonic melodies, “Wait” goes bigger and brighter, built around euphoric piano chords, a driving 90s inspired break, and deep reese bass. It’s a feel good summer record from an artist whose rise shows no signs of slowing down.
