Kiarash Tk brings Waves of Illusion II to Vancouver, showcasing local DJs, immersive visuals, and the city’s underground energy.

Vancouver’s underground music and nightlife scene is about to experience something transformative with Kiarash Tk Waves of Illusion II. At the center of it all is Kiarash Tk, a creative director and digital artist known for his ability to merge worlds such as fashion, art, music, and technology into experiences that leave a lasting impact.

Kiarash’s journey is anything but ordinary. He has designed pieces for London Fashion Week, crafted couture dresses for Cannes Film Festival red carpet attendees, and curated Vancouver’s first NFT art gallery, bringing digital art into the mainstream before it was widely understood. Kiarash Tk Waves of Illusion II signifies his latest venture in immersive productions that have lit up Vancouver’s most recognizable spaces, including Science World, Vancouver Aquarium, and the Vancouver Art Gallery. On the fine art side, his work has been showcased alongside global icons such as Picasso, Dali, Chagall, and Warhol.

As Marketing Director of one of Canada’s largest nightlife venues, Kiarash has been a driving force in driving Vancouver’s entertainment scene, producing over 300 events since 2022. His past projects include Vancouver’s first and the biggest public drone show and the city’s largest public event, Kiarash Tk Waves of Illusion II, which drew an astounding 40,000 attendees to downtown Vancouver.

Now, he’s channeling his experience into Waves of Illusion, a series designed to spotlight local talent and bring Vancouver’s underground electronic community into the spotlight. After a massively successful debut event, Waves of Illusion II will take over the Harbour Event & Convention Centre on October 3rd, featuring 14 DJs and 11 local music collectives in a celebration of sound, visuals, and culture. Kiarash Tk Waves of Illusion II is set to redefine expectations.

“Waves of Illusion is about more than just music,” says Kiarash. “It’s about creating a space where artists, performers, and the community can come together to experience something truly immersive and unique to Vancouver. This event represents the passion and creativity that our city’s underground scene has to offer.” Building on the momentum of its debut, Waves of Illusion II will feature state-of-the-art visuals, multi-sensory installations, and a collaborative approach that unites some of the most exciting names in Vancouver’s music scene. The night will set a new benchmark for what Kiarash Tk Waves of Illusion II and nightlife in the city can achieve.
