A future anthem in the making, ‘Take It Down’ sees the talented Reigns teaming up with CASH ONLY for an Afro inspired Deep House release that has already caught the attention of industry tastemakers. Praised as a standout track of the year, this expertly crafted production adds to the growing momentum of the newly launched UK-based label, Famous When Dead Records

With a packed schedule of summer releases set to dominate the clubbing season, the imprint continues to build on the success of ‘Together,’ ‘Holy Water,’ and ‘Love Story,’ now welcoming its founder and label head, CASH ONLY, to its expanding catalogue. ‘Take It Down’ is a high-energy electronic track, fluidly blending elements of house and progressive dance music. With a driving beat, pulsing bassline, and buoyant synths, the track instantly builds momentum through succinct layered textures and dynamic drops that elevate the song into a surefire dancefloor weapon. The arrangement leans into an immersive, club-ready experience, effortlessly balancing hypnotic rhythms with soaring melodies that deliver an electrifying experience.

Co-written with Dee Adam (KSHMR, Maribou State, Wilkinson), ‘Take It Down’ emerges as a beacon of hope in challenging times, reminding us that we are living proof of resilience. The track carries a powerful message – urging people to lay down their weapons, whether physical or emotional, and let love take the lead. With purpose and depth, it stands as a testament to CASH ONLY’s versatility, a rare quality that continues to shape the global electronic music scene. Renowned for his seamless blend of house rhythms and Afro-influenced sounds, CASH ONLY has carved out a distinct identity in dance music. As a Label Manager and resident for Sam Divine’s DVINE Sounds, he has cemented his influence on the scene. Now, with the launch of Famous When Dead Records, he further extends his reach, pushing the boundaries of house music and making an undeniable impact.

Here, rising artist Reigns blends classic soul and blues with a modern edge, drawing inspiration from legends like Janis Joplin, Aretha Franklin, and Nina Simone. Fearlessly authentic, her emotionally changed releases are empowering and resounding. Set to release her debut album ‘Love Languages’ this summer, Reigns has already stunned audiences with the release of her breakout singles ‘Take Your Power’, and ‘Collateral Damage’, Reigns is fast becoming a force in the music scene.

Launched in February this year, Famous When Dead Records is a visionary collaboration between CASH ONLY and abstract street artist Famous When Dead. Fusing underground music with visual art, the label is dedicated to championing House music and its subgenres. Rooted in CASH ONLY’s anti-establishment ethos, the imprint serves as a creative bridge between sound and visuals, fostering a space for bold innovation and artistic experimentation.

With a year of milestone releases ahead, collaborations, and brand partnerships in action, we see this release as an important step forward in the enduring legacy for the Label.
