Lollapalooza 2026 returns to Chicago’s Grant Park from July 30 to August 2, featuring a massive electronic lineup headlined by hometown hero John Summit.

Lollapalooza 2026 runs July 30 to August 2 at Grant Park in Chicago, and while the poster leads with Charli XCX, Lorde, and The Smashing Pumpkins, the electronic music contingent is quietly one of the stronger dance lineups the festival has assembled in years.

The biggest story for dance music fans is John Summit headlining on home turf. The Chicago-born tech-house DJ has had one of the most meteoric rises in electronic music in recent memory, and playing the top of the bill in his own city is a genuinely special moment. Expect the crowd energy to match.

Beyond Summit, Alison Wonderland brings her emotionally charged bass-heavy sound to what will be another commanding festival set. Duke Dumont offers UK house pedigree, Boys Noize delivers raw techno credibility, and Major Lazer remain one of the most reliably chaotic live acts on any bill. Boris Brejcha is the wildcard — his hypnotic high-tech minimal sets have a habit of converting the unconverted.

On the house and tech-house side, Sidepiece, Dombresky, Eli Brown, and Westend all represent a strong current crop of artists who move comfortably between club and festival. The Chainsmokers handle the mainroom end of things, while rising names like Vandelux, Omnom, and Chicago’s own Whethan round out a lineup with genuine depth across the spectrum.
