Mark Mendy And Mathew V Team Up For Their Catchiest Tune To Date!
Mark Mendy is unstoppable, already racking in over 10 million streams on just two songs released this year. Showing no signs of slowing down, the Italian artist teams up with Mathew V from Vancouver to bring us ‘Now Or Never’. Catchier than much of what we’ve seen from the pair so far (which is really saying something), the tune pays homage to the classic plucks and piano sounds of the deep house genre we’ve all come to love while implementing a modern pop approach that sets this one apart from the rest. A summer stunner, it’s a song you’ll surely want on your playlists starting now!
Hailing from Genoa, Italian music producer, and songwriter Mark Mendy breathes dance-pop music. Starting out with several million plays on his tropical house productions, his style moved more and more towards pop and dance as his audience grew. Guided by inspirations such as Dua Lipa, Joel Corry, and Calvin Harris, Mark is actively involved in the production and writing processes of all his songs in order to achieve a unique sound within the wide range of artists. Judging by almost two million monthly Spotify listeners, this catches on!
After 10 years of classical operatic vocal training, Mathew V moved from Vancouver, Canada to London, England at the age of 17, where he found his signature sound. Following his musical awakening overseas, Mathew has accomplished a lot since returning home to Canada. Mathew penned a deal with 604 Records and his debut single ‘Tell Me Smooth’ went top 40 on Canadian Radio & Billboard Charts for 18 weeks. Mathew has collaborated with the likes of Dan Mangan, Fly By Midnight, Luca Fogale, Jocelyn Alice, Ria Mae, and more. On stage he’s opened up for Betty Who, Ria Mae, Hanson, Daya, and MAGIC! to name a few. His debut album ‘The Fifth’ charted in both Canada and the US earning critical acclaim from press outlets such as Nylon and Billboard. Following placements on shows such as Love Island, Mathew has charted top 50 on Shazam in over 72 cities. Mathew has become a sought-after topliner in the dance world, with #1’s in 34 countries and landing cuts with Vigiland, Shaun Frank, Raaban, and more. In 2022, Mathew‘s project The Outer Circle was nominated for Adult Contemporary Album of the Year at the Juno Awards. Now with a catalog of over 60 million streams, Mathew is making new music, pushing his boundaries, and setting his sights on new highs.
