Melbourne’s Eat The Beat Brings Two Unique Underground Events to ADE 2025
Get ready for Eat The Beat ADE 2025, showcasing Melbourne’s underground culture through unique events and community spirit.
Melbourne-based Eat The Beat (ETB) returns to Amsterdam Dance Event 2025 with two showcases that highlight both creativity and underground culture. Since 2017, the group led by Matteo Belcore has built a reputation for transforming spaces into unique rave experiences. After selling out the Auditorium in 2024, the team now sets its sights on two fresh concepts: a church rave and a nightclub train.
Rave in the Church
A standout concept from ETB, Rave in the Church, is making its European debut at ADE 2025. The event takes place inside Hotel Arena’s historic chapel, built in 1888, where the gothic arches become part of the setting. The Melbourne edition of this concept had already gained attention for turning sacred architecture into a dancefloor, and Amsterdam now becomes the next stop.
The lineup reflects ETB’s long-standing community. Artists such as Anna Reusch, Joris Tourenhout, Julian Mesa, Juliet Fox, Mha Iri, Stella Bossi, and ETB resident Gav Whitehouse all share connections to the Eat The Beat family. Their involvement ensures that the Melbourne underground sound is presented to an international audience in a way that stays close to the crew’s roots.

Eat The Beat Night Club Train
If the chapel event reimagines tradition, the Night Club Train takes the party onto the rails. For one evening, a six-carriage train becomes a moving venue with three stages and space for bars and lounges. Only 400 tickets are available, making it one of the most limited-capacity events during ADE 2025.
The lineup is divided by stage partners. Galactica hosts Mha Iri, Paolo Ferrara, Nikolina, and special B3B sets under the Techno and Hard Techno banner. Deeperfect presents a Tech House lineup including Joe Venditti, Dimmish, and Stefano Noferini. A joint stage from Celeste, Move Frankfurt, and Stuck in a Loop features Stella Bossi, Gav Whitehouse, Joris Tourenhout, Bjornson, Justin Hahn, and several Dutch underground names. The four-hour round trip from Amsterdam Central Station turns the journey itself into the dancefloor.

Eat The Beat’s return to ADE 2025 reflects how a Melbourne events company continues to shape ideas on an international stage. With Rave in the Church and the Night Club Train, ETB shows that underground culture can travel far while staying rooted in the community that built it.
