Midnight Evolution Releases Meridian on Interplay Flow
Midnight Evolution continues his Progressive House direction with new single Meridian on Interplay Flow
Midnight Evolution has released his latest single Meridian through Interplay Flow, a sub-label of Interplay Records. Released on October 9, the track follows recent singles Solstice and Dreams as he continues adding new music to his catalogue. Meridian pairs powerful kicks and a steady bassline with layered synths, expansive pads and soft vocal textures. The production keeps Progressive House at its core while giving the melodic side of the track just as much attention as its more energetic elements.
Breaking Down Meridian
Meridian opens around a firm rhythmic foundation, with its kick and bassline supporting percussive synth layers throughout the arrangement. As the track develops, atmospheric pads and lighter vocal textures enter the production, adding contrast to the stronger electronic elements underneath.
Pulsating melodic details gradually become more prominent, while the vocal textures give the track a more emotional quality without taking over the instrumental. That balance allows Midnight Evolution to keep the Progressive House structure intact while adding softer elements across the production.
Following Solstice and Dreams
The release continues a steady period for Midnight Evolution, following Solstice and Dreams. Across those releases, he has kept a consistent focus on Progressive House while combining melodic elements with tracks intended for both DJ sets and everyday listening.
Meridian continues that direction with a stronger focus on the contrast between its rhythmic foundation and atmospheric layers. The track adds another release to a catalogue that has increasingly connected his melodic ideas with the more direct side of Progressive House.
Another Release Through Interplay Flow
Released through Interplay Flow, Meridian places Midnight Evolution on the Progressive House-focused sub-label of Interplay Records. The release gives him another platform for the style he has continued exploring across his recent singles.
