As the single progresses, the duo playfully chop the vocals which adds a catchy feeling to the single while rhythmic and groove basslines carry the energy of the single.

Oliver Heldens, Ian Asher & Sergio Mendes- Mas Que Nada
The spirit of Rio’s rapturous annual Carnival provides the heartbeat of Oliver Heldens and Ian Asher’s new release, a re-imagination of the worldwide hit ‘Mas Que Nada’. Two DJs raising their fists to a massive, energized crowd at an electronic music festival, representing the New EDM Friday releases including Anyma x Solomun and Hardwell.

New EDM Friday is back on November 7, 2025, stacked with massive releases, including the long-awaited Anyma x Solomun ‘Till I Die’ collaboration, and the huge John Summit (Subtronics Remix).

Anyma x Solomun – Till I Die

Two titans of melodic and minimal techno, Anyma and Solomun, finally deliver their highly anticipated collaboration, ‘Till I Die’. This track is a masterclass in atmosphere, blending Anyma’s cinematic synth work with Solomun’s signature hypnotic, deep-groove sensibility. For fans of Anyma and Solomun‘s ‘Till I Die’, it’s a powerful, sweeping record built for late-night club transcendence, cementing its place as a staple in sophisticated dance sets for months to come. Anyone looking forward to New EDM Friday November 2025 will find this track a standout.

Hardwell & Dyro – Not Alone

Big room powerhouse Hardwell teams up with fellow Dutch producer Dyro for ‘Not Alone’, an explosive mainstage anthem. Built on a foundation of huge, driving basslines and a soaring, uplifting vocal hook, the track radiates raw, festival-ready energy. ‘Not Alone’ is a testament to the enduring power of classic progressive house blended with modern, sharp production, guaranteed to ignite any dance floor, particularly anticipated for New EDM Friday in November 2025.

John Summit ft. Inéz – Crystallized (Subtronics Remix)

The most anticipated remix of the year is finally here! Subtronics applies his iconic, raw bass signature to John Summit‘s ‘Crystallized’ featuring Inéz. After igniting massive crowd reactions at major festivals like Austin City Limits and Lost Lands, the official release channels an insane amount of energy, blending the track’s striking vocals with earth-shattering sound design. This is the “collab we didn’t know we needed,” and it delivers a definitive, genre-bending festival moment, right in time for New EDM Friday November 2025.

KLAXX, San Holo – i feel ALIVE

Breakthrough artist KLAXX teams up with bitbird boss San Holo for ‘i feel ALIVE’, the latest single from KLAXX’s forthcoming debut album. The track is a cathartic and cinematic adrenaline rush, weaving distorted vocals, chopped rhythms, and pop-punk inspired guitar riffs into a high-octane electronic anthem. It’s an expressive journey that fearlessly blurs the lines between hyperpop, rock, and bass music, making it a highlight release for those following New EDM Friday November 2025.

Phatwell – Let’s Go To Mexico

Swedish producer Phatwell shifts gears and delivers a sun-drenched, sophisticated club track with ‘Let’s Go To Mexico’. Moving away from his signature progressive house sound, this record expertly blends uplifting, energetic house with melodic techno tones. For anyone who enjoyed Anyma Solomun Till I Die, the result is a vibrant, evocative groove that instantly transports the listener to a seaside set in Tulum, perfectly capturing that desirable, free-spirited Mexico vibe, just in time for New EDM Friday November 2025.

WHIPPED CREAM – life

WHIPPED CREAM unveils her powerful and emotionally charged single, ‘life’. Showcasing her versatility as a producer, songwriter, and vocalist, the track blends elements of stutter house and melodic house with her signature hypnotic rhythm. ‘life’ is an intimate yet club-ready sonic experience, which the artist shares is about “heartbreak and hope colliding”, a beautiful, fragile reflection on human connection set to a breathtaking soundscape. This release is among the compelling new releases for New EDM Friday November 2025.

G Jones & Eprom – Slamming Keys

The architects of bass music’s avant-garde, G Jones and Eprom, reunite for ‘Slamming Keys’, the first single from their forthcoming ‘Disk Utility’ EP. This track is a mind-bending collision of rhythm and texture, blurring the lines between experimental bass and breakbeat. With glitching synths and seismic low-end, ‘Slamming Keys’ transforms sound-system complexity into pure, warped catharsis, marking New EDM Friday in November 2025 as a landmark release date.

Nostalgix & Kyra Mastro – Holy

Multi-dimensional artist Nostalgix returns with the electrifying single ‘Holy’, featuring the euphoric vocals of Kyra Mastro. The track is an irresistible mix of her signature punchy low-end rhythms and shimmering melodies, standing as an anthem of liberation and renewal. ‘Holy’ marks the ignition point of Nostalgix’s bold new evolution, driven by creative freedom and a fierce, authentic spirit, adding to the excitement for New EDM Friday November 2025.

Gentlemens Club – Only You

UK bass-music heavyweights Gentlemens Club drop a taste of their highly anticipated ‘Originals EP’ on Deadbeats with the track ‘Only You’. Drawing from their deep roots in dub reggae influences and sound clash energy, the trio delivers a genre-blurring cut that seamlessly merges dubstep, jungle, and UK sound system culture. It’s a bold declaration of their creative evolution and raw, boundary-pushing sound, perfectly poised for New EDM Friday November 2025.

Daft Punk Lives On: Guy-Man Rumored to Go Solo as Bangalter Returns to the Decks

After years of silence, both halves of Daft Punk are finally making noise again.

Just weeks after Thomas Bangalter surprised fans with his first DJ set in 16 years alongside Fred again.. in Paris, reports have surfaced that Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo is working on his first solo album. French music executive Emmanuel de Buretel, founder of Because Music, revealed in a recent interview that “Guy-Man fait son album” — “Guy-Man is making his album.”

From Robots to Reinvention

When Daft Punk announced their official split in 2021, it closed one of the most influential chapters in electronic music history. Since then, Bangalter has re-emerged through art-driven solo projects like Mythologies and CHIROPTERA — and now, a long-awaited return to live DJing.

Meanwhile, Guy-Manuel has stayed largely off the radar. The recent comments from de Buretel mark the first credible sign that the quieter half of Daft Punk may finally be stepping into the spotlight. If true, this would be his first major solo release since the duo’s breakup.

What We Know (and What We Don’t)

  • Confirmed source: The quote originates from de Buretel’s appearance on France Inter, reported by We Rave You on November 2, 2025.

  • No official details: There’s still no word on collaborators, tracklist, or release timeline.

  • Bangalter’s momentum: His recent Paris DJ set, captured at the Centre Pompidou, confirms that both members are creatively active again.

In short: both robots are moving, just not in sync this time.

Why This Matters

Guy-Manuel’s production style helped define Daft Punk’s signature French-touch sound — from the raw funk of Homework to the glossy euphoria of Discovery and the analog warmth of Random Access Memories. A solo record could finally show what his sound looks like when it stands completely on its own.

Will it be disco-driven and nostalgic, or something darker and more experimental? Either way, fans have waited over a decade to find out.

The Next Chapter

Between Thomas Bangalter’s surprise DJ comeback and Guy-Manuel’s rumored solo project, 2025 might finally be the year Daft Punk’s legacy continues moving forward.

One behind the decks. One in the studio.
Both back in motion — just not together… yet.
