New EDM Friday Oct 16 brings together new singles, collaborations, album releases, and remixes covering house, progressive house, bass music, techno, drum and bass, and electronic dance. From Alesso and Kaitlin Aragon with Fight For Love to FISHER and LAUREL with Staring At The Sun, The Chainsmokers with Baby, HUGEL and Snoop Dogg with H.O.U.S.E, Levity and K.Flay with Slipping Away, Zen Selekta with All Massive, Innellea with RECKLESS 69, and Martron with Hit The Road, these are the tracks you should not miss on this week’s New EDM Friday.

Alesso, Kaitlin Aragon – Fight For Love

Alesso and Kaitlin Aragon release Fight For Love, a new collaboration featuring Alesso’s melodic dance sound. Alesso played the track during his Ultra Japan set in September, ahead of its official release. The single follows In Your Eyes with OneRepublic and his two-track The One EP. He released the EP through Body Hi and Tomorrowland Music in August. Meanwhile, Kaitlin Aragon recently worked with Kaskade and GLOCKENBACH on Runaway. With Fight For Love, the pair contribute one of the week’s biggest melodic dance releases to New EDM Friday Oct 16.

FISHER, LAUREL – Staring At The Sun

FISHER and LAUREL collaborate on Staring At The Sun, a new single released through CATCH & RELEASE. The track combines LAUREL’s emotional vocals with piano hooks and euphoric house production. Its lyrics also take inspiration from the Greek myth of Icarus. Throughout 2026, FISHER played the track at EDC Las Vegas, Tomorrowland, Creamfields, and his [UNVRS] Ibiza residency. Meanwhile, his singles Rain, Favour, and What A Life have all reached No. 1 on Billboard’s Dance/Mix Show Airplay chart. With Staring At The Sun, FISHER and LAUREL add a long-awaited collaboration to New EDM Friday Oct 16.

The Chainsmokers – Baby

The Chainsmokers release Baby, their first single since announcing their departure from Columbia Records and Disruptor Records after 11 years. The duo confirmed the decision on October 14, explaining that they wanted greater freedom to experiment with future music. Drew Taggart and Alex Pall also thanked their former team for more than a decade of success. The single follows their recent Love Is Kind EP and tracks including ALL THE TIME and Echo. As a result, Baby marks the beginning of a new independent chapter for The Chainsmokers in New EDM Friday Oct 16.

HUGEL & Snoop Dogg – H.O.U.S.E

HUGEL and Snoop Dogg collaborate on H.O.U.S.E, fulfilling a 21-year ambition for the French DJ and producer. Their partnership began when Snoop Dogg contacted HUGEL through Instagram. The two later performed together at Coachella, marking another milestone in their collaboration. Additionally, the single follows HUGEL’s debut album Twenty One, which reached No. 1 on Spotify’s Global Dance Albums Chart. The album has since surpassed 650 million streams. With H.O.U.S.E, HUGEL and Snoop Dogg add a major hip-hop and house collaboration to New EDM Friday Oct 16.

Levity x K.Flay – Slipping Away

Levity and K.Flay collaborate on Slipping Away, a new single released through Ultra Records on October 14. The track combines Levity’s bass-heavy production with K.Flay’s alternative rock influences and emotional songwriting. Before its release, Levity played the song at Lost Lands and Experts Only Festival. The collaboration also follows their sold-out debut headline show at Red Rocks Amphitheatre on October 2, where K.Flay joined them. Earlier this year, Levity performed at Coachella and EDC Las Vegas before touring with Tape B. With Slipping Away, Levity and K.Flay add an alternative-influenced bass single to New EDM Friday Oct 16.

Zen Selekta – All Massive

Zen Selekta makes her Deadbeats debut with All Massive, a new bass single released through Zeds Dead’s label. The track combines deep, percussive basslines, haunting atmospheres, and hypnotic textures inspired by soundsystem culture. Zen Selekta describes the song as a tribute to the dubstep sound that first inspired her, as well as the people who keep that culture alive. The release follows her collaboration with A Hundred Drums on The Force and appearances on the Girls Wanna Have Fun tour. She has also recently performed at Lost Lands, Wakaan Music Festival, and Seven Stars. With All Massive, Zen Selekta adds a soundsystem-inspired bass release to New EDM Friday Oct 16.

Innellea – RECKLESS 69

Innellea returns to his trance roots with RECKLESS 69, a new single released through his own belonging label. The track takes a faster and more playful approach to his melodic sound, following recent singles Slave to the Hype and Bounce Music. It also comes with Reckless: The Movie, a satirical short film that questions image, hype, and manufactured personas in electronic music. Earlier this year, Innellea stepped away from performing after publicly admitting that he felt stuck in his career. Since then, he has used humour and music to challenge the expectations placed on artists. With RECKLESS 69, Innellea brings a trance-inspired release to New EDM Friday Oct 16.

Martron – Hit The Road

Martron collaborates with Tauklo on Hit The Road, an upbeat indie-electronic single. The track combines catchy melodies, a drum and bass-inspired rhythm, and Tauklo’s vocals to tell a story about taking risks and overcoming obstacles. It also marks the first single from Martron’s upcoming Drive EP, scheduled to be rreleased on October 27. The release follows his March album Passion and comes after support from ODESZA, NGHTMRE, SLANDER, and Steve Aoki. With Hit The Road, Martron adds an uplifting electronic release to New EDM Friday Oct 16, ahead of his next EP.
