New EDM Friday Oct 23 brings together new singles, collaborations, remixes, and album releases covering trance, house, techno, UK garage, and electronic dance music. From Armin van Buuren and Omiki with Sunny Days to BUNT. with Levi did it, Kiko and Olivier Giacomotto with World Cup 1998, Sami Brielle with how 2 get backstage, Sammy Virji with Open Late, and Timmy Trumpet with REVELATIONS, these are the releases you should not miss on this week’s New EDM Friday.

Armin van Buuren & Omiki – Sunny Days

Armin van Buuren and Omiki collaborate on a new version of Sunny Days, released through Armada Music. The track revisits Armin van Buuren’s 2017 single featuring Josh Cumbee, whose vocals remain part of the new version. This time, Omiki adds a faster, more powerful trance sound, with the extended mix running at 140 BPM. Armin van Buuren has also played the rework during his recent sets, giving audiences an early listen. With Sunny Days, Armin van Buuren and Omiki bring a familiar vocal track back into New EDM Friday Oct 23 with a faster, more powerful trance sound.

BUNT. – Levi did it (Album)

BUNT. releases Levi did it, his 15-track debut album through Arista Records. The project follows his 2024 EP Levi Don’t Do It and includes tracks such as TRIPPIN, i need u, Stay, and Nothing Lasts Forever. The album continues his folk house sound, combining acoustic influences with warm house rhythms and melodic electronic production. It also follows a major year for BUNT., including performances at Coachella, EDC Las Vegas, Ultra Croatia, and Lollapalooza. Meanwhile, his recent success includes more than 1.2 billion streams and over 400,000 tickets sold. With Levi did it, BUNT. brings his first full album into New EDM Friday Oct 23, marking a major milestone in his career.

Kiko – World Cup 1998 (Kiko & Olivier Giacomotto Remix)

Kiko and Olivier Giacomotto revisit World Cup 1998, giving the French producer’s 1998 techno track a new remix. Originally released through Ozone Records, the label founded by Kiko and Oxia, the track took just three hours to produce. It later received support from Laurent Garnier, who played it at the first Techno Parade in Paris that September. Nearly three decades later, the original returns with three remixes from Kiko, Kiko & Olivier Giacomotto, and Waltervelt, released through Sekence / Wagram. With World Cup 1998, Kiko and Olivier Giacomotto bring a classic piece of French techno history into New EDM Friday Oct 23.

Sami Brielle – how 2 get backstage

Sami Brielle releases how 2 get backstage, a new tech-house single produced by Matt Sassari and Boris Way. The idea began when Boris Way met Sami Brielle backstage at [UNVRS] Ibiza and later sent her the song’s initial topline. With Sami Brielle in Los Angeles and Boris Way in Paris, the two completed the writing and recorded vocals over Zoom before Matt Sassari joined the production. The track takes a humorous approach to club culture, focusing on the lengths people might go to for backstage access. It also follows Sami Brielle’s success with LET’S GO, her collaboration with David Guetta and Jaden Bojsen, which has surpassed 300 million streams worldwide. With how 2 get backstage, Sami Brielle adds a playful tech-house release to New EDM Friday Oct 23.

Sammy Virji – Open Late (Album)

Sammy Virji surprised listeners with Open Late, an eight-track album released independently on October 21. The project follows his 2025 album Same Day Cleaning and features collaborations with Joy Anonymous, Wet, and Hans Glader. Inspired by life on tour, the album captures the experience of attending one of Sammy Virji’s DJ sets, incorporating unexpected key changes and breakdowns that reflect his live performances. He also celebrated the surprise release with a pop-up event at 93 Feet East in London, where attendees heard the new music before it became available on streaming platforms. With Open Late, Sammy Virji adds eight new UK garage tracks to New EDM Friday Oct 23.

Timmy Trumpet – REVELATIONS (Album)

Timmy Trumpet releases REVELATIONS, his second studio album, featuring 15 tracks released through Spinnin’ Records. The project follows his debut album Mad World and explores heartbreak, vulnerability, and self-discovery following the end of a relationship that lasted more than a decade. Working with co-producer Mike Hawkins, Timmy Trumpet discarded around 30 tracks before creating a more personal collection of songs. The album includes Will I Be Alright? and Dance Till I Die, alongside collaborations with Winona Oak, John Martin, Alle Farben, and Frank Walker. Additionally, ZEDD recorded live drums for Dancing On The Edge. Describing the album as a form of therapy, Timmy Trumpet uses REVELATIONS to share a different side of his music and personal experiences. The 15-track project completes this week’s featured releases for New EDM Friday Oct 23.

Ravenscoon & Hex Cougar – ECHOES

Emotional bass artist Ravenscoon joins forces with electronic music trap artist Hex Cougar on “ECHOES,” poised for release on October 23rd. The track serves as the second single from Ravenscoon’s forthcoming album, SANCTUARY, pairing his experimental bass foundation with Hex Cougar’s emotive, trap-infused sound. “ECHOES” blends Hex Cougar’s emotive vocals and melodic sensibilities with Ravenscoon’s seductive basslines and intricate sound design. The track seamlessly fuses trap-driven melodies with trance-inspired vocal passages, building an atmosphere of euphoric escapism and distant bliss. Balancing emotional depth with immersive bass production, “ECHOES” captures the intersection of both artists’ sonic identities.

Torcha – Graft

Toronto-based DJ and producer Torcha makes his Deadbeats debut alongside skxllflower and Limmz with their new collaboration “Graft,” a dark and heavyweight cut available across all digital streaming platforms on October 23rd. Arriving via Zeds Dead’s flagship label during its landmark 10th anniversary year, the single taps directly into the darker edge of modern dubstep while introducing another emerging voice to the Deadbeats ecosystem.
