Nick Sheldon Returns Under His Blackhill Alias With New Single ‘Infinity’ ft. Anabel England!

Nick Sheldon is a Prolific producer, DJ, and writer, who has been honing his skills for years. He now comes to the forefront with the launch of his own alias known as Blackhill. His new release ‘Infinity’ features the incredible vocals of songstress Anabel Englund who has in recent years become a household name amongst Dance Music enthusiasts.

Writing on a regular basis with artists such as Solardo, SIDEPIECE, Alex Mills, Jem Cooke, and many more – Blackhill‘s music leans on influences from all of the aforementioned artists equating to a relevant signature electronic/dance sound in every track he creates. ‘Infinity’ lifts the listener to the halcyon days of Chicago house music with its teasing vocal lines juxtaposed against a foot-stamping four-to-the-floor.

About the record, Sheldon says: “Infinity is the brainchild of an amazing writing session with Anabel Englund and Karma Kid. Two favourites of mine. I’m very excited to finally show people my Blackhill sound. This is the first of many to come.”

Anabel Englund, iHeart Music’s “Dance Music Artist of The Year” nominee has already got a number of titles under her belt including four #1 US Dance Airplay singles including “Waiting For You”, “Underwater”, “So Hot (MK & Nightlapse Remix)” and “Picture Us”. We get to see Anabel Englund really highlight her vocal abilities in “Infinity”, especially within the breakdown sections which is complimented by Blackhill’s clever use of vocal sampling, the lead vocal sounds to be almost painted on top of the track with precision and delicacy.

Having already worked on tracks amassing millions of streams like Karen Harding and Shift K3Y’s “Morning”, as well as Jamiroquai’s “Rock Dust Light Star”, it is an exciting time for Blackhill. A new artist in his entirety almost, Nick Sheldon will be releasing more tracks whilst heading into 2022 with huge ideas and collaborations to look forward to.
