One of Vas Creates Beautiful Sonic Experience With New Album ‘MIGMA’
Greek producer One of Vas is making a statement with his first release of the year being his stunning debut album ‘MIGMA.’
Right from the off One of Vas, real name Vasilis Tsavdaridis, sets out the tone for the album with the intro track ‘Get Warm.’ The atmosphere is akin to an 80s sci-fi movie with dystopian drones filling out the soundscape. The overall tone for ‘MIGMA’ makes you feel like you’re floating through space while surrounded by swirling synths. Something that stands out is One of Vas’ use of stereo space with all the beautifully crafted sounds gliding through the soundscape of ‘MIGMA.’ A particular standout track is ‘Blooming’ which features some fantastically delivered vocals that sit in the mix excellently. ‘MIGMA’ is not an album you just listen to, it’s an album you experience. It doesn’t feel tied down by genres. Each track explores new realms with a variety of beats, tempos, and instrumentation which keeps the album feeling fresh. The Greek producer has made his level of creativity unquestionable.
