Following shortly after ‘Purified Fragments XII’, Purified Records celebrates 2022’s final selection of melodic and deep sounds, revealing its three-track ‘Purified Fragments XIII’ compilation – out now on all streaming platforms.

Opening with their instrumental cut ‘Wind’, German production outfit Diode Eins make their label debut. Floating across a laidback arrangement, the producers combine undulating synths, shuffling percussion, and bold instrumentals to enter a mystical realm. Returning to the imprint, Namatjira teams up with Jelle van Leeuwen for a delicate and blissful offering ‘Reminiscent’, where the producers devise a stunning instrumental arrangement with a timeless feel. Frankfurt-based artist PARAFRAME closes out the EP with ‘Euphoria’. Building a hypnotic soundscape with staccato notes and raw bass, the track turns with a mesmerizing drop, keeping listeners hooked with its enchanting presence.

In January 2019, three school friends from Neuss, Germany decided to follow their shared passion for electronic music and founded Diode Eins. Originally focusing on drum ‘n’ bass, Jannis, Julien and Jerome later discovered their passion for techno in all its forms. For the trio, the musical creative process has the character of a spiritual practice and is dedicated to connecting people through feelings. Be it in the studio, or on the dancefloor, it is all about evoking something in the listener and creating that indescribable energy that we all love so much about dance music. To achieve this, they are always exploring different sound worlds and always aim to deliver something new and unknown – not only in their tracks, but also in their energetic performances.

There are no boundaries in the mind of Dutch producer Joost van der Vleuten. For the past decade, he has released under multiple monikers and explored many different styles in the electronic dance music landscape. After many successful projects and releases in trance, the deep, warm beats and tangled melodies lured him in, and so Namatjira was born. With originals like ‘1000 Of Years Ago’‘Road To Nothing’, and ‘Late At Night’, his sound became widely recognized and gained support from the likes of Hernan Cattaneo, Sasha, John Digweed, to name a few. With releases on some of the genres most in-demand imprints, as well as highly successful collaborations and official remixes, his impressive legacy continues to grow.

Frankfurt-based creative PARAFRAME stands out from the masses by combining sound and visuals in a mesmerizing fashion. The composer and filmmaker approaches his craft through a unique lens, and musically skates the peripheries of a multitude of styles, never landing on one long enough to become classified by it. His latest album ‘Exhale’ shows his ability to capture diverse audiences, from the easy listener to the dancefloor lover. The album was also released with a stunning hour-long live show, where he invites his collaborating singers on stage as holograms. With high-profile remixes and collaborations with the likes of Cosmic Gate, Miss Monique, and Dash Berlin, Pavel Khvaleev is no stranger to the Beatport charts. On a mission to help his audiences escape from reality, the future is looking bright for this outstanding mastermind.

Afrobeat Rising Star Eazie Boi Channels Conscious Storytelling in New Single “Normally”

Fast-rising Nigerian Afrobeat artist, songwriter, rapper, and singer Raymond Isreal, popularly known as Eazie Boi, delivers purpose and power on his latest single, ‘Normally’, released January 30, 2026. Rooted in Afrobeat with emotionally resonant storytelling, the track blends rhythmic vibrancy with a deeper sociopolitical message reflective of present-day realities in Nigeria.

Known for his hardcore trap style fused with Nigerian sonic textures and global influences, Eazie Boi continues carving out a distinctive space in the African music landscape. An indigene of Akwa Ibom State in West Africa, the dynamic performer has steadily built momentum through heart-stirring releases such as ‘No Para’, ‘Oshey’, ‘Dispare’, and ‘Burning Bridge’, records that highlight both his melodic range and lyrical depth.

With ‘Normally’, Eazie Boi leans fully into his role as a conscious storyteller, using music as both expression and reflection.

“’Normally’ is another way of me expressing what I feel about the current situation of the Nigerian people right now. But on a normal level, the goal was to create vibes and make people feel something real — a kind of song that connects emotionally and inspires somebody,” he says.

While sonically upbeat and rhythm-driven, the record carries layered commentary beneath its danceable production. The artist — who identifies first and foremost as a storyteller — intentionally structured the song so that the message leads the music.

“The message had to come first. This song is more about expressing the current situation of Nigerians right now,” Eazie Boi states.

The inspiration behind ‘Normally’ came during a moment of reflection sparked by social media discourse surrounding music and meaning. Within minutes, Eazie Boi began shaping what would become one of his most intentional records to date — a fusion of sound and substance designed to resonate across both dance floors and lived experiences.

Listener reception has been overwhelmingly positive, with audiences gravitating toward the beat, rhythm, and flow while organically engaging with the song’s deeper undertones. The duality of vibe and message reflects Eazie Boi’s broader artistic mission: creating music that moves people physically while speaking to them emotionally and socially.

For Eazie Boi, music has always been rooted in purpose. His work is driven by a desire to inspire awareness, spark reflection, and contribute to conversations that extend beyond entertainment. Through his sound, he aims to connect with listeners on a human level — offering both resonance and reassurance through shared realities.

That intentionality shapes the legacy he hopes to build through ‘Normally’ and beyond.

“I want my music to outlive me. I want people to see their reflection of greatness through my sound — a legacy of vibes, talking into people’s feelings and speaking their minds. Maybe inspire a few to chase their dreams, make them remember my sound when life gets tough. I just want to leave a mark that says, ‘He made us feel something… he brought answers and awareness through his music.’”

Deeply influenced by Pan-African ideology, Eazie Boi’s forthcoming projects aim to merge Afrobeat and hip-hop with themes of social consciousness, continental unity, and diaspora solidarity. He places himself within a lineage of revolutionary artists who used music as a vehicle for cultural awareness and societal transformation.

As he continues expanding his global footprint, Eazie Boi remains committed to pushing boundaries, touching lives, and amplifying African stories through rhythm and truth — one record at a time.

‘Normally’ is now available on all major streaming platforms.
