Released 8 Years Ago: DubVision – Backlash (Martin Garrix Edit)

Rising star Martin Garrix could do no wrong in his surge for dominance, dropping his take on DubVision‘s ‘Backlash’ on Spinnin’ Records on the 7th of July, 2013. Those famously huge DubVision chord progressions are mixed seamlessly with Garrix‘s powerhouse production qualities. Resulting in a larger-than-life, progressive title of incredible magnitude.

Martin Garrix has risen to global stardom in pop as well as electronic circles – and yet he’s far from being done. Dance music’s freshest talent has headlined festivals around the globe, founded a label and mentored other artists and won the #1 spot in DJ Mag’s Top 100 three times in a row. His passion, ambition, drive, and maturity remain unmatched in the world. With his label STMPD RCRDS now firmly established, Garrix has free range to do exactly that which he loves most: making music.

DubVision are an in-demand electronic production duo made up of brothers Stephan Leicher and Victor Leicher. Interested in music from a young age, both brothers were encouraged to study piano beginning around age seven. By his teens, Victor began experimenting with electronic production, followed soon after by Stephan. Having worked alongside big names such as Martin Garrix, Afrojack, Alesso, Armin van Buuren and more, this duo have dominated the progressive house scene for years and will do so for more to come.
