Matador‘s mighty RUKUS label serves up its 30th EP here and it comes from Stephan Jolk. After releasing on the likes of Afterlife, Rose Avenue, and Watergate he presents this new chapter, full of energy and passion.

‘About My Dreams’ opens the EP in true ‘A Side’ fashion with a very strong summer hook. Tested many times by none other than Matador himself, it’s a real festival weapon. The break creates just a moment of breath and inspiration, before the energy kicks back to skyrocketing highs.

‘Flowers Of Evil’ is a perfect example of sophisticated electronic music in 2022 with complex chords and harmonizing counter melodies. It’s a song that can talk about love and shines on the dance floor.

Stephan’s offering of these hugely atmospheric, peak-time rollers is superb. This is classy music that makes an indelible mark.
