Since 1998 the DJ Awards has been celebrating the biggest achievements in dance music with its yearly prestigious awards ceremony attended by the biggest names in electronic music. For 2025’s edition they are introducing the Grand Jury, a brand-new initiative that brings in the expertise of industry experts to handle the awards process.

The DJ Awards honours the achievements of artists, clubs, festivals, and industry professionals. To further their commitment to authenticity and transparency in their selection of categories and nominees the Grand Jury has been introduced. The Grand Jury is a panel of industry experts from booking agencies, club operators, festival organisers, media, streaming platforms, PR agencies, record labels, and other essential industry institutions. Moving forward there will be new members of the Grand Jury every year as they aim to make sure that the panel consists of people with relevance to the years trends for the best judgement.

As one of the longest standing celebrations of electronic music the DJ Awards is continuing to find new ways to grow, and the Grand Jury marks a new era for the awards. This excellent initiative will ensure that the true pioneers and visionaries get the recognition they deserve so they can join the esteemed past winners such as Daft Punk, Carl Cox, and Armin Van Buuren. Now the Grand Jury has been selected soon the nominees and categories will be announced.
