10. Rihanna, Calvin Harris – Where Have You Been (Various Remixes)
Where Have You Been was released in 2011 on Rihanna’s sixth studio album, Talk That Talk, with Calvin Harris among the producers behind the track. Its house-influenced production and repeated “where have you been” hook made it one of the album’s biggest dance records, while numerous remixes and edits have since given DJs different versions to work into electronic sets. More than a decade later, those updated versions continue to bring the song back into clubs and festivals without relying solely on the original recording. With four plays during Tomorrowland 2026 Weekend 2, Where Have You Been finished among the weekend’s 10 most played tracks, showing how a 2011 pop release can continue finding its way into DJ sets through new remixes and edits.
9. Pupa Nas T & FOVOS ft. Denise Belfon – Work Edit
Work Edit was released on June 12, 2026 by Pupa Nas T and FOVOS, featuring vocals from Denise Belfon, and followed the continued revival of Work, a track that has received several new versions and remixes over the years. The 2026 edit pushes the record into a faster hard dance and techno direction, with the extended version running at 152 BPM while keeping Denise Belfon’s recognizable vocal at the centre of the track. That combination gives DJs a version of Work that fits more naturally into harder and faster sets while still retaining the vocal that connects it to the original record. With four plays during Tomorrowland 2026 Weekend 2, Work Edit finished as the ninth most played track of the weekend only weeks after its release.
8. Avicii – Levels
Levels was released in 2011 and became one of Avicii’s most recognizable tracks, with its central melody and Etta James vocal sample becoming closely associated with the early-2010s EDM era. The track has remained a regular part of festival and DJ sets long after its release, with artists continuing to play the original alongside edits, mashups, and updated versions. Its structure also makes sections of the track easy to incorporate into different kinds of electronic sets without needing to play it in full. With four appearances during Tomorrowland 2026 Weekend 2, Levels ranked as the eighth most played track of the weekend, continuing its presence at Tomorrowland 15 years after its release.
7. HUGEL & SOLTO – Jamaican (Bam Bam)
Jamaican (Bam Bam) was released by HUGEL and SOLTO through MoBlack Records, reworking elements of Sister Nancy’s widely sampled Bam Bam into a house record centred on percussion, bass, and the familiar vocal. The track gave SOLTO one of his first major releases and helped introduce his percussion-heavy house sound to a wider audience alongside HUGEL. Its connection to a vocal that DJs and listeners already recognize makes it easy to place within house and Afro house sets while still sounding current through the newer production. With four plays during Tomorrowland 2026 Weekend 2, Jamaican (Bam Bam) ranked seventh among the weekend’s most played tracks.
6. Dimitri Vegas & Pat B ft. Sylver – Turn The Tide
Turn The Tide traces back to Sylver’s debut single from 2000, a Belgian trance record written by Regi Penxten and Wout Van Dessel that became one of the group’s best-known releases. More than 25 years later, Pat B brought the vocal and melody back through his own harder version before joining Dimitri Vegas and Sylver for the newer rework heard throughout 2026. The track keeps the parts that made the original immediately recognizable while updating it for the faster, harder styles now appearing across festival sets, which helped it move between nostalgic familiarity and a current release. With seven plays at Tomorrowland 2026 Weekend 1, Turn The Tide tied for the highest number of appearances across the weekend, giving a Belgian dance classic a new chapter at Tomorrowland more than two decades after the original was released.
5. ANOTR – Talk To You (feat. 54 Ultra)
Talk To You was released by ANOTR featuring 54 Ultra, continuing the Amsterdam duo’s move toward house records that rely heavily on live instrumentation and vocals alongside their electronic production. 54 Ultra’s vocal gives the track a clear focal point, while the bassline and percussion keep it easy to work into house sets without losing the song itself. Since its release, the track has also received remixes from artists including Faul & Wad and NO ONE, giving DJs additional versions to use across different types of sets. With five plays during Tomorrowland 2026 Weekend 2, Talk To You ranked fifth among the weekend’s most played tracks.
4. Martin Garrix & Third ≡ Party – Carry You (feat. Oaks & Declan J Donovan)
Carry You was released in February 2024 by Martin Garrix and Third ≡ Party, with vocals from Oaks and Declan J Donovan, after first being introduced during Garrix’s Ultra Music Festival Miami 2023 set. The collaboration marked the first release between Garrix and Third ≡ Party since Lions in the Wild in 2016, bringing them back together for another progressive house record centred on a prominent melody and vocal-led breakdown. The track had already become familiar through Garrix’s live sets before its official release, and he occasionally used it as his show intro during 2023. With five plays during Tomorrowland 2026 Weekend 2, Carry You ranked fourth among the weekend’s most played tracks, more than two years after its release.
3. Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, Marlon Hoffstadt & DJ Konik – Makina Time
Makina Time was released in January 2026 by Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, Marlon Hoffstadt, and DJ Konik through Smash The House. The track reworks elements associated with Marlon Hoffstadt’s It’s That Time, keeping its recognizable vocal and rave-influenced ideas while pushing them into a faster festival-focused version. Its combination of familiar elements and a harder, faster production gives DJs a record that can work across trance, hard dance, and broader electronic sets, which helps explain why it appeared repeatedly throughout the weekend. With five plays during Tomorrowland 2026 Weekend 2, Makina Time ranked third among the weekend’s most played tracks only six months after its release.
2. Bountyhunter – Woops (Dimitri Vegas & Junkie Kid Remix / BRANDON Remix)
Woops dates back to the early 1990s and has continued to resurface through newer remixes that introduce the track to different generations of electronic music listeners. More recently, versions from Dimitri Vegas & Junkie Kid and BRANDON have pushed it back into current DJ sets, with BRANDON’s remix taking the track into a house direction while keeping the recognizable elements of the original. Having multiple current versions also gives DJs more flexibility in how they use Woops across different styles and set tempos. With six plays during Tomorrowland 2026 Weekend 2, the track ranked second among the weekend’s most played songs, showing how an older rave record can return through newer remixes and still become one of the most frequently played tracks at the festival.
1. PROSPA & Cloonee – Free Your Mind
Free Your Mind was released in 2026 by PROSPA and Cloonee, bringing the UK duo together with one of house music’s most prominent names for a track centred on a repeated vocal phrase, a driving bassline, and a fast-moving house arrangement. The collaboration combines PROSPA’s rave and house influences with Cloonee’s more club-focused production, giving DJs a track that can fit easily into house, tech house, and festival sets. Its repeated vocal and direct structure also make it easy to mix in and out of without losing the part listeners recognise most quickly. With seven plays during Tomorrowland 2026 Weekend 2, Free Your Mind ranked as the most played track of the weekend.
What The Top 10 Shows About Tomorrowland 2026’s Most Played Tracks
Tomorrowland 2026’s combined ranking across both weekends shows a mix of newer releases taking the top positions alongside several older records that stayed in circulation throughout the festival. According to Tomorrowland, PROSPA and Cloonee’s “Free Your Mind” finished first overall, followed by the remixes of Bountyhunter’s “Woops” and Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, Marlon Hoffstadt and DJ Konik’s “Makina Time.” Martin Garrix and Third Party’s “Carry You” and ANOTR’s “Talk To You” also featured prominently, rounding out the tracks with the strongest showing across the two weekends. Further down the ranking, Avicii’s “Levels” and Rihanna and Calvin Harris’s “Where Have You Been” showed that records from the early 2010s were still being worked into sets alongside music released much more recently.
Across the full festival, the ranking reflected a wide spread of current house, harder dance music, remixes, and updated versions of familiar songs. “Woops” and “Levels” stood out for showing how certain older records continue to get worked into sets consistently, even as newer names move around them across a lineup this size. At the same time, tracks such as “Free Your Mind,” “Makina Time,” “Work Edit,” and “Jamaican (Bam Bam)” show how quickly newer releases can move into regular festival rotation when several DJs pick them up within the same event. Taken from Tomorrowland’s full 2026 data, the ranking gives a useful snapshot of what was actually being played most often across the festival, combining current releases, new interpretations of older records, and songs that have continued to hold their place in DJ sets for more than a decade.

Breakaway Music Festival Announces First Four 2027 Stops
Next spring, Breakaway Music Festival will kick off in sunny Florida with Breakaway Tampa on April 16-17, ushering in the season before traveling through a series of signature markets across the country through November. Following Tampa, the nationwide tour will continue with Breakaway Atlanta May 14-15, Breakaway Ohio over Memorial Day Weekend on May 28-29, and Breakaway Minnesota June 25-26. Additional cities will be announced later this year.

Breakaway Music Festival Continues Its 2026 Season
With the 2026 season still underway, Breakaway Music Festival has already welcomed nearly 160,000 attendees across its first seven event weekends, with six festivals still to come, including Breakaway Michigan August 14-15, Breakaway Mass August 21-22, Breakaway Philadelphia September 11-12, and Breakaway Carolina September 25-26, before concluding in Breakaway Utah October 2-3 and Breakaway Houston November 13-14, both first-time stops for the brand.
This year also marked Breakaway Music Festival’s landmark debut in New York City at Under The K Bridge Park earlier this summer. 2026 lineups were anchored by globally renowned electronic music artists including FISHER, John Summit, KETTAMA, Subtronics, Tiësto and more, reinforcing Breakaway’s reputation for delivering world-class talent and unforgettable live experiences to fans nationwide.

Now, Porter Robinson brings his unique sound and die-hard fanbase to North Coast Music Festival 2026 – promising a show you just won’t forget.
4. Fisher, Friday, The Stadium
When Fisher steps onto “The Stadium” stage for day one of North Coast Music Festival 2026, he will instantly become one of the biggest names in dance music history to ever do so. Ever since the Australian pro surfer turned tech house legend released “Losing It” in 2018, it’s been off to the races. 7. Levity B2B Tape B, Saturday, The Vega
Levity and Tape B are two forces to be absolutely reckoned with in the dubstep genre… and now they’re joining forces for their Summer Program tour. Playing in venues all the way from Bonner, Montana, to Brooklyn, New York, the two iconic dubstep groups have taken the EDM scene by storm in 2026. Now, bassheads can rejoice in all their wook glory, as Levity and Tape B bring their electrifying back-to-back act to Chi City for North Coast 2026.
8. BUNT., Sunday, The Stadium
BUNT. has become synonymous with what it means for an EDM DJ to truly connect with their audience. Categorized by interactive 360 stages, emotional anthems thousands can all sing in unison, and the biggest venues in dance music, BUNT. has created a live experience you just have to be there to understand. Now, the German speed house sensation is back and taking over the North Coast main stage for the very first time.
9. Tchami, Sunday, The Vega
Born in Paris, France in 1985, Tchami has since spent his life single-handedly pioneering the future house genre in EDM. Tachmi first gained global attention in 2013 with his massive original single “Promesses,” before co-producing tracks for pop music queen Lady Gaga on two different albums. Tchami now makes his rounds to Chicago for Labor Day 2026, bringing all the grooves needed for the final day of North Coast Music Festival 2026.
10. Illenium B2B Slander, Sunday, The Stadium
What better way to close out North Coast Music Festival 2026 than with a bass music trio as classic as it is iconic. Illenium and Slander have both cemented themselves among the absolute pinnacle of melodic bass music, bringing a match made in heaven whenever they go back-to-back. It all started in 2019 when Slander released their iconic remix of Illenium’s “Good Things Fall Apart.” Ever since, the two have been inseparable, marked by iconic B2B sets and performances to never forget. Now, the Chicago-born melodic bass legend and Los Angeles duo are closing out North Coast Music Festival the only way they know how: in absolutely breathtaking B2B fashion.

The New York-based DJ and producer built his reputation through soulful, gospel, and Afro-house influenced production, co-founding Sfere Recordings with Kerri Chandler before launching his own label, Objektivity. He remains best known for his 2010 Defected Records single “Hey Hey,” a record that helped define the sound of soulful house for a new generation of dancefloors, and his catalog includes long-running collaborations with Masters at Work and Little Louie Vega.
