A Historic Night in Egypt: Tiësto Live at the Pyramids

Tiësto is officially set to perform at the Pyramids of Giza on December 19, 2025, marking one of the most anticipated shows of the year. Organized by P+US and Full Circle, the event brings the global DJ to one of Egypt’s most iconic landmarks for a single-night experience with limited tickets available now.

Everything You Need to Know for December 19

Tiësto is set to perform at the Pyramids of Giza on Friday, December 19, 2025, with gates opening at 6:00 PM. The event is limited to attendees aged 21 and over, with advance ticket purchase required. No tickets will be available at the venue. Sales are currently open via TicketEgypt, powered by Venflare, with early bird and premium tiers available in limited quantities.

The concert is presented by P+US and Full Circle, two of the most active organizers in Egypt’s electronic music scene. The show is expected to run late into the night, with clearly stated policies regarding re-entry, group access, and venue conduct. Attendees are strongly advised to review the terms before purchasing their tickets.

Why a “Searching for Sunrise” Set Makes Sense at Giza

Given the Pyramids’ dramatic silhouette against the horizon and their deep connection to light, shadows, and timelessness, a set modeled after Tiësto’s “In Search of Sunrise” performances would resonate beyond sound itself, echoing the spectacle of dawn over ancient stones. In recent years, Tiësto revived this legacy with a full “In Search of Sunrise” closing set at EDC Las Vegas 2025, timed for 4:13 AM to align with sunrise.

The In Search of Sunrise series began in 1999 as a trance compilation mixed by Tiësto, with the first seven volumes produced by him. Each edition was built around the emotional transition from night to dawn, using melodic progressions, atmospheric layering, and carefully sequenced tracks. Sunrise sets have long been viewed by fans as defining moments where the night’s final energy gives way to new light.

At the Pyramids, where darkness, heritage, and sky converge, a sunrise‑themed set would feel intentional and deeply connected to the setting. The ancient stones already frame the horizon, and a performance unfolding with the first light would mirror the natural rhythm of the desert. It would also allow Tiësto to explore his more ambient, trance‑inspired side, bridging his early sound with his modern direction while giving both longtime and new listeners a rare shared experience.

One of the Rarest Shows in Tiësto’s Career

Very few artists have performed at the Pyramids of Giza, and even fewer within the electronic music world. With limited capacity, strict permitting, and the weight of the location itself, this event stands apart from standard tour stops. For Tiësto, it marks a rare alignment between artist, venue, and global audience.

Whether the set reflects his early trance work or moves in a new direction, the performance will be shaped by more than just the music. The setting, the scale, and the history behind it all add weight to what may become one of the most talked-about shows of his 2025 calendar.

In a crossing of paths which no one had on their bingo card, the legendary Carl Cox met the King of the UK, King Charles III.

On May 14th an event was held at Buckingham Palace to celebrate the 50th anniversary of The King’s Trust. The trust was founded in 1976 by King Charles (then Prince Charles) to help young people fighting challenges such as unemployment and homelessness. Carl Cox was invited to the event which may seem random however he does have some history with the trust. Cox revealed on social media that when he was 24 he received £1,000 from The King’s Trust with which he bought his first pieces of DJ equipment.

He described going to the event as a full circle moment having gotten to celebrate the trust that supported him through such a tough time. The money he received from The King’s Trust has had a huge impact on his life as it came at a pivotal moment. In his post on social media he said, “The big decision back then was whether to take £500 a week as a scaffolder or £60 a week as a self-employed DJ. I chose the music, and that was that ….the rest you know.”

This goes to show how important The King’s Trust and other charities like it are as without it the world could have been deprived of one of the greatest DJ’s of all time. The King’s Trust helped birth DJing royalty and perhaps in the future it will help launch the next Carl Cox’s career.

John Summit Teases CTRL ESCAPE Arena Tour

John Summit Teases CTRL ESCAPE Arena Tour following the success of his second studio album

John Summit has teased a possible CTRL ESCAPE arena tour, adding another major live angle to an album cycle that has already been tied closely to his own career story. The tease comes after the release of CTRL ESCAPE, his second studio album, which was released on April 15 and played directly into his former life as an accountant through Tax Day timing, office-style promo, and pop-up events connected to the album’s concept. In the weeks around release, John Summit also kept the rollout moving through special live moments, including a Spotify and LinkedIn office pop-up in New York and an open-to-close Red Rocks set tied to CTRL ESCAPE. The arena idea also has history behind it, since John Summit previously brought the Comfort In Chaos era to Madison Square Garden and three Kia Forum shows, where the orchestral live version of Where You Are showed how his music could expand in a larger concert setting.

What John Summit Has Teased About The CTRL ESCAPE Arena Tour

John Summit has teased the CTRL ESCAPE arena tour one month after the album came out, giving fans the first real sign of how the project could move into an arena setting. In the post, John Summit said he had been working on how to bring the album to life “in an arena setting” and said a tour announcement was coming soon. The wording matters because it links the tease directly to the album, not just to another round of tour dates. It also gives fans a clearer idea of what to expect from the next chapter, with CTRL ESCAPE being treated as a full live concept.

The visual side of the tease added more context, with John Summit sharing a stage rendering that showed a packed arena and a larger production layout. EDM.com also reported the rendering as part of the CTRL ESCAPE arena tour tease, which made the post feel closer to an early preview than a casual comment online. That detail fits the way John Summit has handled the album so far, where the music, artwork, office references, and release events have all stayed tied to the same concept. For now, the confirmed point is simple: John Summit is preparing to bring CTRL ESCAPE into an arena setting, with full tour details still expected from official channels.

Inside John Summit’s CTRL ESCAPE Rollout

John Summit treated CTRL ESCAPE like a campaign tied to his own career story, with the album’s April 15 release date giving the rollout its clearest reference point. April 15 is U.S. Tax Day, which made the timing connect directly to his former CPA background and the album’s office-life concept. Before release week, John Summit had already introduced the album through a surprise Los Angeles pop-up, where the CTRL ESCAPE title and release date started circulating publicly. He later posted office-themed promo around the album, writing that it was his “first time in the office” since his accountant days, while confirming CTRL ESCAPE as his new album out April 15. The campaign kept the accounting reference specific without over-explaining it: the title uses keyboard language, the release date pointed to tax season, and the visuals placed John Summit back inside the kind of corporate setting he left before becoming a full-time artist.

The rollout also gave fans several physical touchpoints before the album came out. On April 2, Spotify and LinkedIn hosted an invite-only New York office party for John Summit’s top Spotify listeners, with the event celebrating CTRL ESCAPE ahead of its release through Experts Only and Darkroom Records.

Coverage from the pop-up also pointed to new music being previewed, including CHICA 305, which gave the event a stronger album connection than a standard branded appearance. Less than a week later, John Summit brought CTRL ESCAPE to Red Rocks Amphitheatre for a special open-to-close album pop-up on April 8, giving fans a three-hour set tied directly to the project before its release. Those events gave the rollout two sides at once: the office concept made the album’s backstory visible, while Red Rocks put the project in front of a live crowd before the wider arena conversation started.

rt=”0″ data-end=”61″>John Summit’s Arena History Started With Comfort In Chaos

John Summit had already tested the album-to-arena format during the Comfort In Chaos era, starting with his June 29, 2024 headline show at Madison Square Garden. The New York show used a 360-degree stage, lasers, and a larger visual setup, but the bigger point was how the night was structured around John Summit’s catalog and debut album. Pollstar reported that the show sold out with 15,636 fans and grossed $1.5 million, with ticket prices ranging from $29 to $299. The set ran as a long-form solo show, moving through different parts of John Summit’s career before ending with a two-hour Comfort In Chaos section, which made the album feel like the center of the night instead of a few new tracks placed inside a festival-style set. John Summit later uploaded the Madison Square Garden set to SoundCloud, writing that his team had put significant work into bringing the Comfort In Chaos vision to life, which adds more context to why the current CTRL ESCAPE arena tour tease feels like a continuation of a format he has already tried at scale.

The Los Angeles run pushed that idea further, with John Summit playing three sold-out nights at the Kia Forum on November 14, 15, and 16, 2024. The 17,500-capacity venue gave Comfort In Chaos a bigger West Coast headline moment, with the sound system selected to carry the full range of John Summit’s tracks while still giving the crowd the force expected from a dance show. The Forum dates also added one of the clearest examples of how John Summit can expand his music for a larger concert setting, with a live orchestra joining him for the opening of Where You Are. He had previewed the orchestra element before the first Forum show, and the performance later became Where You Are (Orchestral Version) – Live At The Forum, released with HAYLA and Maddix in November 2024. That moment matters for the CTRL ESCAPE arena tour angle because it shows that John Summit’s arena plans are not limited to bigger screens and larger rooms. The Comfort In Chaos run already showed him using headline arenas for longer set structure, live arrangement changes, guest vocal moments, and album-focused production.

What A CTRL ESCAPE Arena Tour Could Mean For John Summit

A CTRL ESCAPE arena tour would put John Summit’s second studio album into the same headline format that helped Comfort In Chaos grow beyond a standard DJ set. The bigger question is how far that format could go this time, especially if the tour expands beyond the U.S. and takes the CTRL ESCAPE concept into international arenas. With the album already tied to office visuals, Tax Day timing, pop-ups, and the Red Rocks album set, John Summit has enough material to turn the show into something more structured than a regular club or festival appearance. The Comfort In Chaos era also gives fans a reason to look for more than screens and lasers, since the Kia Forum run included the orchestral Where You Are moment with HAYLA. That opens the door for similar live elements, reworked intros, guest vocals, or album-specific arrangements if John Summit chooses to scale the concept further. Full tour details are still to come, but the tease has already made the next step around CTRL ESCAPE one of the most closely watched parts of his current album cycle.

MEDUZA & James Hype Bring OUR HOUSE To Hï Ibiza as BPerfect presents a five-date summer series inside Wild Corner

MEDUZA and James Hype are bringing OUR HOUSE back to Hï Ibiza this summer, with BPerfect Cosmetics joining the residency for a five-date series inside the club’s Wild Corner. Taking place across five Wednesdays on 27 May, 24 June, 29 July, 26 August, and 30 September, the collaboration brings together the OUR HOUSE residency, BPerfect’s beauty presence, and one of Hï Ibiza’s most talked-about spaces. The series also falls within the wider OUR HOUSE Hï Ibiza 2026 season, which runs every Wednesday from 27 May to 30 September 2026, marking the fourth year of MEDUZA and James Hype presenting the residency at the venue.

BPerfect Brings All-Female And LGBTQ+ Talent To Hï Ibiza’s Wild Corner

At the centre of the collaboration is Wild Corner, Hï Ibiza’s unisex disco bathroom and one of the venue’s most recognisable spaces. Known for its DJ setup inside the bathroom area, Wild Corner gives guests another dancefloor beyond the Theatre and Club Room, making it a natural setting for a takeover that connects music, beauty, and nightlife culture.

For this series, BPerfect steps in as host, working with Club Class Music Management to curate lineups across the five Wild Corner dates. The series will spotlight all-female and LGBTQ+ talent, giving the space its own focus within selected OUR HOUSE Wednesdays. Guests will also find a BPerfect photo booth in the outdoor area, on-site gifting, and a beauty top-up station inside the garden tipis, extending the takeover across the wider Hï Ibiza experience without separating it from the night itself.

MEDUZA³ And James Hype SYNC Return To The Hï Ibiza Theatre

Inside the Hï Ibiza Theatre, MEDUZA and James Hype will continue leading OUR HOUSE with their respective live concepts. MEDUZA³ brings the Italian trio’s hybrid live and DJ format to the room, combining DJing with live piano, digital instrumentation, and MIDI-controlled performance elements.

James Hype will also return with SYNC, his show concept focused on the technical side of his DJing. The setup uses a custom lighting system that follows his actions on the decks, turning his transitions, edits, and live control into part of the visual show. Together, MEDUZA³ and SYNC keep OUR HOUSE centred on performance, production, and the long-running Ibiza partnership between the two acts.

The Five-Date Series Opens With Gok Wan And Brendan McDowell

The Wild Corner series opens on 27 May, with Gok Wan and BPerfect Founder Brendan McDowell listed for the launch event. More names are still expected to be announced, with the remaining dates set for 24 June, 29 July, 26 August, and 30 September.

Hï Ibiza remains one of Ibiza’s key venues for large-scale residencies, with its Theatre, Club Room, outdoor areas, and Wild Corner giving each night several distinct spaces. The venue was voted DJ Mag’s World’s No.1 Club for four consecutive years from 2022 to 2025, reinforcing its position within the island’s nightlife calendar. For MEDUZA, James Hype, OUR HOUSE, and BPerfect, the Wild Corner series adds a five-date summer run inside one of Hï Ibiza’s most recognisable spaces, bringing beauty touchpoints and a curated artist lineup into the OUR HOUSE season.
