UNTOLD, ranked 3rd best in the global Top 100 Festivals, unveils the first artists for the 2026 edition: Martin Garrix, The Chainsmokers, Kygo, Marshmello, Afrojack b2b R3hab, James Hype, Lost Frequencies, Sebastian Ingrosso, MËSTIZA, and Steve Aoki. The festival combines EDM and its subgenres with live acts such as Flo Rida, Swae Lee, and Tash Sultana on the mainstage. Between August 6–9, 2026, the beautiful city from the heart of Transylvania, Romania, Cluj-Napoca once again becomes a global capital of music, love, energy, connection, legendary shows, and experiences that go beyond the boundaries and lift you up, stay with you, and change you.

Marked as UNTOLD ONE, the concept under this summer’s edition, represents the beginning of a new decade fulfilled with an eclectic lineup, spectacular production, intense and unforgettable experiences for the best crowd in the world. From chart-dominating global hits to live shows that have gone viral on the world’s biggest stages, this first lineup announcement reflects the essence of the new era with global premieres, powerful comebacks of artists defining sounds of diverse generations, with all crafting special shows for the UNTOLD stages.

The electronic music genre is represented by some of the biggest DJs and producers in the world. Martin Garrix, one of the most influential figures, returns to the UNTOLD mainstage with a show built around decade-defining hits such as Scared To Be Lonely and In the Name of Love, each surpassing 1.5 billion streams. Ranked No. 1 five times in the DJ Mag Top 100 DJs, a record achievement, and 2nd in 2025, Martin Garrix confirms his status as an electronic music superstar and headliner of the world’s biggest festivals.

The Chainsmokers, creators of Closer, one of the most streamed songs of all time with over 3.5 billion streams, redefined the boundary between pop and electronic music. Grammy Award winners and authors of global hits such as Something Just Like This and Don’t Let Me Down, the duo remains a defining act for generations raised on their sound.

Kygo, the pioneer of tropical house, is among the fastest-rising artists in dance music history. His productions have accumulated billions of streams, with tracks like Firestone and It Ain’t Me surpassing 3 billion global streams. In 2022, Kygo made history as the first DJ to perform at the Olympic Games closing ceremony.

Marshmello is one of the few DJs dominating both electronic and pop charts simultaneously. With over 50 million monthly listeners and tracks like Happier, which has surpassed 2.5 billion streams, Marshmello is a global phenomenon. His virtual concert in Fortnite, watched by millions, remains one of the most innovative moments in recent live music history.

Lost Frequencies, one of the most successful European artists of the past decade, introduced a melodic house sound that conquered international charts through tracks such as Where Are You Now (1.6 billion streams) and Are You With Me (over 1.3 billion streams). James Hype, regarded as one of the freshest DJs of the moment, will amaze the mainstage with the hit Ferrari, which quickly surpassed 500 million streams, and with live sets that have gone viral worldwide. Afrojack b2b R3hab, Sebastian Ingrosso, Steve Aoki and MËSTIZA complete the first wave of DJs.

Flo Rida, one of the most successful artists in pop-rap history, will create an iconic performance at UNTOLD. With over 80 million records sold worldwide and iconic hits that have surpassed one billion streams, such as Low and Good Feeling, Flo Rida redefined mainstream urban music and turned it into a global phenomenon, constantly present on radio, charts, and major festival stages.

Swae Lee, one of the most influential voices of the new hip-hop and pop generation, comes to UNTOLD ONE with a catalog of tracks dominating streaming platforms. Sunflower, his collaboration with Post Malone, has surpassed 4.1 billion streams on Spotify, becoming one of the most streamed songs in the platform’s history and cementing his status as an artist who defines contemporary mainstream sound.

The first lineup announcement for UNTOLD ONE confirms the festival’s direction: an event that brings together key names from electronic, pop and urban culture in the place where hundreds of thousands of people become ONE and create the experience recognized globally for its scale, production, and emotions.

200+ artists and more than 470,000 fans from across the world will join the global celebration of music, love, energy, and connection at UNTOLD, in the heart of Transylvania, Romania. New names will be unveiled soon. Passes are available on untold.com.
