“Clarity (Album)” by Zedd
‘Clarity’ was the debut studio album by Russian-German producer Zedd, released on the 5th of October 2012. Featuring singles such as ‘Clarity’, ‘Spectrum’, ‘Fall Into The Sky’, ‘Follow You Down’ and more, this album proved to be a huge success with streams totaling up to 400+ million online streams. This album received rave reviews from multiple sources, including Daniel Shaw of EDM Insider giving it an A+, indicating how the project “Not only does Zedd explore a wide magnitude of sounds and feels in his creative work, but he manages to create a cohesive album.”

“18 Months” by Calvin Harris
’18 Months’  is the third studio album by Scottish DJ and musician Calvin Harris, released on the 26th of October 2012. It marked Harris‘s first album where he does not regularly provide vocals on each song, instead producing the music and having guest singers sing for him. The album includes the singles ‘Bounce’, ‘Feel So Close’, ‘Let’s Go’, ‘We’ll Be Coming Back’, ‘Sweet Nothing’, ‘Drinking from the Bottle’, ‘I Need Your Love’ and ‘Thinking About You’, all of which, along with ‘We Found Love’ featuring Rihanna, reached the top 10 of the UK Singles Chart, making ’18 Months’  the first album in history to spawn nine top-10 singles.

‘Cannonball’ is a song by Dutch duo Showtek and Justin Prime, released on the 29th of October 2012. A track which is packed to the brim with huge riffs, enormous builds, killer drops and an infectious melody, ‘Cannonball’ took over the festival scene in 2012 and it is still receiving love to this day.

‘Sunrise (Won’t Get Lost)’ is a track by The Aston Shuffle and Tommy Trash, released on the 12th of October 2012. After a short break from releases during the summer of 2012, Axtone got back to what they do best; releasing quality music from the across the globe. Starting off as a remix of a song he loved, Tommy Trash added his production which ended up flipping this record on its head, turning it into an electronic masterpiece.
