In the fast-paced world of electronic dance music, news spreads swiftly across the globe, making it easy to learn when our favorite DJs are collaborating in the studio. Yet, what occurs behind those studio doors often remains undisclosed.

Think you know every single secret collab? Think again. Check out these five secret DJ collaborations that you might not have known about:

Afrojack & Martin Garrix – Another Level

This duo is not a surprise to the EDM world. In fact, their first track together ‘Turn Up the Speakers’ turns ten years old this year. Afrojack and Martin Garrix have been seen in and out of the studio together over the years, but their 2018 release may be a surprise. Released on his album ‘Press Play’, Afrojack’s hit track ‘Another Level’ has a surprise collaborator, Martin Garrix. In the song credits, Garrix is listed as a co-writer of the song under his legal name, Martijn Garritsen.

Hardwell & W&W – Everybody Is In The Place

This trio is also not a surprising one in realm of electronic music. Dutch DJ and producer Hardwell has teamed up with Dutch DJ duo W&W on several, different occasions over the years. However, Hardwell’s track ‘Everybody Is In The Place’, is one of their lesser known collaborations. This song was released as a single on Hardwell’s recordRevealed Recordings in 2014.

Don Diablo & Zonderling – Heaven To Me

Dutch DJ Don Diablo released his song ‘Heaven To Me’ in 2018 with vocalist Alex Clare. This track is a secret collaboration with the Dutch DJ duo Zonderling. The song features a booming electro-house groove with powerful and energetic beats. It’s message, according to Don Diablo, is to remind listeners that nothing is impossible when we’re with the ones we love.

Borgeous & KSHMR – Wildfire

Rumored as a ghost producer over the years, American songwriter, DJ, and producer, KSHMR has allegedly helped produced several of Borgeous’ tracks throughout his career. Borgeous’ 2014 track ‘Wildfire’ is a euphoric-feeling progressive house tune with beautiful female vocals that blend seamlessly with the uplifting synth riffs and unforgettable melody. ‘Wildfire’ is also rumored to be a secret collaboration with KSHMR.

Cedric Gervais & CID – Molly

Originally released in 2012, ‘Molly’ is a song by French-American DJ and producer Cedric Gervais. The track was written and produced by Gervais in collaboration with NYC-based artist CID. These two have also collaborated several times since then, including on their 2013 hit ‘Never Come Close’ and other 2012 hit ‘Playa’.
