5 Tracks You Won’t Believe Are Turning 7 Years Old This Month! [September 2019]

“Don’t You Worry Child” – Swedish House Mafia ft. John Martin
We kick this list off with one of the most iconic dance singles of the 2010’s. The trio of Swedish House Mafia had taken over the charts with hits such as ‘One’, ‘Save The World’, ‘Antidote’, ‘Greyhound’ and more yet they were not finished. Their last official single as a trio before splitting up and reuniting this year became arguably their most successful, ‘Don’t You Worry Child’ was released on the 14th of September.

“Reload” – Tommy Trash & Sebastian Ingrosso
Swedish House Mafia member Sebastian Ingrosso had a very busy month back in September of 2012. Teaming up with Tommy Trash for the iconic release of ‘Reload’ catapulted both artists’ singles careers into new heights. A vocal version soon followed which took this track to another level, reaching #1 in the UK charts in the process. This classic single was released on the 29th of September.

“Dear New York” – Firebeatz & Schella
Following up on a string of fresh releases, Firebeatz teamed up with Schella for the collaboration, ‘Dear New York’. The team of three took a recognizable Beastie Boys sample and layered reverberating lead synths with pounding kick drums before dropping a grinding electro beat. Yet another impressive release from these artists and it wouldn’t be the last time they combined in the studio, later releasing ‘Wicked’, ‘Switch’, ‘Through My Mind’ and more. ‘Dear New York’ celebrates it’s anniversary on the 10th of September.

“Sparks (Vicetone Remix)” – Fedde Le Grand & Nicky Romero
Although not an official remix, the rise of the duo Vicetone was a quick one with this remix being very important. Receiving over 15 million online streams and support from big industry music channels such as Proximity seen Vicetone grow into a must-see act in the EDM world. This remix celebrates it’s anniversary on the 10th of September.

“You & I” – Dubvision & Project 46
Who knew that adding multiple progressive house talents in the studio together would lead to something special. Project 46 and DubVision need no introduction, as in 2012 they had multiple tracks trending on Beatport along with gaining millions of streams respectively. Enormous builds, heavy melodic chord progressions, intricate progressive patterns, heavenly female vocals and nothing other than huge drops made up this epic single. ‘You & I’ celebrates it’s birthday on the 17th of September.
