Released 3 Years Ago: Hardwell – Retrograde

Following on from his massive collaboration ‘Reckless’ with Quintino, Hardwell kicking off the‘Revealed Vol. 10’ EP with a highly anticipated track titled ‘Retrograde’. Released on the 16th of August, 2019, ‘Retrograde’ is a homage to his “old school” signature sound and was first premiered during his set at Ultra Europe in 2018. The single also gained massive attention when he played it during his return to Tomorrowland in that same year. The Dutchman would leave his fans waiting another year before he would unleash it officially and fans have been reveling in it ever since.

Throughout his expansive career as a successful DJ, producer, remixer, label boss, filmmaker, and philanthropist, former 2 x World No.1 DJ, Hardwell has carved out a long-lasting legacy within the electronic music world. After over 3 years away, Hardwell returned to at Ultra Music Festival in Miami to perform a surprise closing set. Armed with a new 14-track artist album, ‘Rebels Never Die’, released on Revealed Recordings, and the announcement of a massive world tour, Hardwell ignited the attention of fans around the globe. Always a leader, with a quest to evolve, not repeat. ‘Rebels Neve Die’ represents a critical point in the musical shift for one of electronic music’s biggest-known stars.
