2020 marks an important year for two artists who have decided to come together to make it in the electronic dance music scene. With multiple years of experience within the industry making ghost productions for other artists, the two have decided to collectively launch their own duo, officially forming AEO. Based in Norway, the duo plan to use epic vibes and iconic melodies to take you on a journey. Taking you to another world, a different dimension, and places you’ve always dreamed of, the duo showcase their production skills exceptionally well with their debut single ‘Back In The Streets’.
The new up and coming Norwegian duo AEO released ‘Back In The Streets’, February 20th, the first single from their upcoming album set for release in the summer of 2020. ‘Back In The Streets’ is a testament to AEO‘s love for melodic electronic house music, which is what inspired them both to start their careers in music.
The duo doesn’t take long before they introduce us to their signature sound. The single kicks off with an infectious melody, filtered to create a nice effect. Shortly after, the magnificent vocals from Iva Rii are introduced and take centre stage. Accompanied by the previously introduced melody, Iva Rii‘s vocals build nicely towards the main section. The duo build tension with their rising synths and sounds and once the drop hits we are not disappointed. Using an infectious melody and pulsating basslines, the duo deliver a true mainstage anthem. They have set the bar of expectations very high and with 3 more singles coming in the summer, we can’t wait to hear what they have next for us!
AEO‘s upcoming album will have a mix of songs ranging from melodic EDM inspired from legends such as Avicii, Swedish House Mafia, Tiesto, etc, to groovy down-tempo songs inspired from icons such Calvin Harris, Daft Punk, etc. “The goal is to give the listeners music for every occasion, something you can hear at clubs and festivals and something you can listen to when you just want to kick back and relax,” said AE0.
The two producers behind AEO have previously made music under other various artists’ names and have generated over 5 million streams, including songs featured in Norwegian newspapers and on “Ex On The Beach – Norway”. After constantly being told that they should launch their own artist career, the two friends have finally decided to listen and now it’s official: AEO
