Once again returning to local label 152 Records following the success of his recent single ‘Last One Standing’ ft. Phi Lhouette, longstanding London-based DJ/producer Alex Von Martin is back with an equally impressive new single, the mesmeric techno number
‘070-xxxx-xxxx’.
In keeping with the experienced Italian musician’s signature style, ‘070-xxxx-xxxx’ is a truly ambitious composition, with different instruments darting in and out of the mix at any given time. A minimal concoction based around hypnotic repeated motifs, ambient noise, dialling tones and automated voices, the immersive track is teeming with intricate details, erupting into a heady tech-trance crescendo garnished with delay-soaked leads and cinematic sweeps.
Having upped his musical output substantially with a plethora of well-received singles and collaborations since signing to 152 Records in the summer of 2019, Alex Von Martin looks primed to do big things in 2021. ‘070-xxxx-xxxx’ should serve as the perfect introduction to
this rising star. The new single was dropped on the 17th of November exclusively via Beatport, landing on other vendors and streaming services on the 1st of December.
