Taking a look back at 2022, it is certain that Starkillers and Andrea Godin gave us one of the tracks of the year with ‘Your Love’. Originally released in February and with just a couple of weeks remaining of the year, Starkillers and Andrea Godin spoil us with even more, unveiling a 4-track remix EP. Although some remix packs may include remixes from other artists, these two artists decide to go with a unique route, creating four different versions of the single themselves, further proving their diversity along with the potential that this single had once it was created and released.
Released via Andrea Godin‘s own imprint Scarlet Cartels, the remix pack for ‘Your Love‘ contains 4 different versions, GODSTARR, Summerfish, 9th & 9th, and Sugar House. Kicking the EP off, we’ve got the GODSTARR mix, a mix that brings a similar vibe as the original but with a way more clubby vibe being brought forward as subtly thumpy synths and basslines carry the groove. Up next we’ve got the Summerfish mix, a mix that brings light elements compared to what has come before but does not forget about bringing a groove too. This takes us into the Sugar House mix, and as the title suggests, this one adds more house elements into the mix, with soulful disco elements taking center stage. And last but certainly not least we’ve got the 9th & 9th mix, closing the EP out with a tremendous piece of deep melodic house. With each mix bringing a new edge to the single, it’s hard for dance music lovers not to find one, or more, that they enjoy.
