“As I was writing the song with my friends Rik Annema and Cimo Fränkel, we started talking about how it can be tough to see the light at the end of the tunnel when you’re going through something”, Griff Clawson adds. “We realized that we all just put on a brave face to get by sometimes. The song flowed pretty naturally and quickly, and our conversation about our own highs and lows shaped the lyrics.
