ARTY has been churning out new singles at a very impressive rate this year, but that doesn’t mean there’s no room to welcome a brilliant remix whenever the opportunity arises. As the electronic music mainstay continues to push onward with both his ‘From Russia With Love’ project and a slew of seminal singles, fellow tastemaker ATTLAS steps up to issue a marvelous, far-reaching remix of ARTY and Conrad Sewell’s recent single, ‘Kingdom’.
Amplifying the melodious qualities of ARTY’s original track, this brand-new remix from Canadian creator ATTLAS offers a phenomenal, radiant soundscape that reaches deep within. Steeped in lush pads and tantalizing harmonies that provide the perfect backdrop to Conrad Sewell’s vocals, this inspired rework is a piece of paradise meant to touch both heart and soul.
ATTLAS: “ARTY’s strong melodies and great energy have been a staple in dance music, and his track with Mat Zo, ‘Rebound’, is one of the reasons why I wanted to be a producer myself. Naturally, it was a wonderful opportunity for me to bring my own sense of big evocative arrangement to ‘Kingdom’ and introduce myself to the Armada world.”
Over the course of the past five years, ATTLAS has become one of mau5trap’s most celebrated artists. The Canadian musician signed his first few records to Deadmau5’s imprint in 2015 and has since been making waves across the electronic music realm, captivating his enthusiastic fan base with a range of incredible records, two-hour-long DJ mixes bearing the mark of his Storyline series and a truly magnificent album called ‘Lavender God’, which was released earlier this year. Add to that his delightful remixes for the likes of Deadmau5, Kaskade, Kidnap Lane8, and now ARTY, and there’s no denying that the music of ATTLAS is making the most of its global appeal.
