After previously teaming up with Armada Music to crowd favorites such as ‘Nobody Knows’ and ‘Sleepless In NYC’, Autograf are back with what could easily be described as one of their most tastemaking records to date. ‘Ain’t Deep Enough’, their new release featuring singer Jared Lee, not only marks their return to the Amsterdam-based label, but also serves as a first taste of their forthcoming debut album, titled ‘The Ace Of You’.
Immediately setting the tone with upbeat grooves, warm chords, and dynamic vocals, ‘Ain’t Deep Enough’ builds on the theme of the album. As explained by Autograf themselves, the album concept revolves around a deck of cards as our own life story. “A lot of good and bad things have happened to us in the past couple years. And the album tells this story, but it also tells your story. We share our stories through music, but how you experience it depends on your own interpretation. So what “Ain’t Deep Enough” means to us may mean something else to you. That’s the beauty of life. We have to play the hand we’re dealt in life, but anything is still possible depending on the reading or interpretation.”
Autograf are easily one of the most exciting acts in today’s dance music scene. After starting off their journey crafting up remixes for popular artists, the duo’s debut original, ‘Dream’, catapulted them to great heights. Since then, they’ve had a steady output of successful releases (e.g. ‘Nobody Knows’ feat. WYNNE, ‘Simple’ feat. Victoria Zaro, ‘Dead Soon’ feat. Lils & Bonsai Mammal) and saw their music licensed in popular television series such as Netflix’s “The Innocents”, NBC’s “The Blacklist” and major ad campaigns from global brands such as Louis Vuitton. On the live front, Autograf played festivals such as Coachella, Lollapalooza and EDC Las Vegas alongside headline shows in Thailand, Indonesia, Brazil, Spain, the Netherlands, France and plenty of other places across the globe.
