Avicii & Swedish House Mafia Among Most Google’d Searches Of 2018

If you’re a fan of electronic music then you’ve been put on one hell of a roller coaster through out the year. With the highs of Swedish House Mafia reuniting and the lows of Avicii passing away, this year has been a big year for EDM.

Google recently revealed their most searched topics and words and ranked #1 on the list was “Avicii“. Which means that the news of his death shocked the whole world as they rushed to search if this news was real. With news of Avicii‘s documentary coming to Netflix and lots of unreleased music still being talked about, we are sure that his name will be trending for years to come.

On the other end of the spectrum, Swedish House Mafia were the ranked #1 as most Google’d DJ’s. This comes as no surprise as mans of the Swedish super group have been waiting years for their reunion. Along with their clever marketing tactic to reveal new shows for next year, they are certain to keep their place as #1.
