Aytiwan continues his Afro House run with new single Sansan on his own label Afrosteria

Belgian producer and DJ Aytiwan has released his latest single Sansan through his own label, Afrosteria. Released on October 26, the track follows his recent collaboration with Breyth on Mwezi and continues a busy period of new music. Sansan centres on driving Afro House rhythms, with shuffling percussion, a deep bassline and layered synth work throughout the production. Stuttering arpeggiators and woven vocals add more detail as the track develops, while warmer elements sit against grittier synths. The release arrives as Aytiwan continues gaining support from names including Black Coffee, MoBlack and Shimza. It also adds another release to Afrosteria, which remains central to his work as both an artist and label head.

Breaking Down Sansan

A thumping rhythmic foundation gives Sansan its direction from the opening moments, with shuffling percussion working alongside a prominent bassline. Cyclical synth patterns enter around that foundation, while stuttering arpeggiator lines add movement without taking attention away from the groove. Warmer accents and vocal details appear between the heavier elements, giving the track more contrast as the arrangement develops.

The production also balances cleaner melodic details with rougher synth textures. That combination keeps the track rooted in Afro House while giving Aytiwan room to add more layers across the arrangement. Instead of relying on a single hook, Sansan develops through percussion, bass and overlapping synth patterns that gradually change across the track.

Aytiwan Continues a Busy Release Period

Sansan follows Aytiwan’s collaboration with Breyth on Mwezi, adding another release to a period that has seen his music receive growing support across Afro House. Black Coffee has regularly included his productions in sets, while MoBlack and Shimza are also among the names who have supported his work.

That support has come alongside Aytiwan’s continued work through Afrosteria, where he releases his own music while developing the label separately from his DJ career. The combination gives him control over both the music he puts out and the wider direction of the project.

Afrosteria Remains Central to the Project

Alongside producing and DJing, Aytiwan continues to head Afrosteria, using the label as the home for releases including Sansan. The project has become another part of his work within Afro House as he continues releasing music under his own name and developing the label alongside it.

Sansan is available now on Spotify and Beatport, adding another release to Aytiwan’s current run following Mwezi.
